Why take this course?

In this course you will learn about the Procreate app and iPad in two fundamental ways. You will watch me explain the interface while demonstrating the hand gestures that are used to complete various tasks. You will learn how to import and export images, flip the canvas, share the work in various formats, export video, setup the perspective tools, and adjust the interface to your preference.

In the next section I will take you through a complete illustration from start to finish. This will allow you to see and work through the process of creating the illustration and commit it to memory. You will learn about the brushes, layers, blending modes, lock transparency, selection tools, color adjustments, and general tips and tricks on painting various effects with texture.

By the end of this course you will have created a fun and informative art project. I would love to see what come up with and I would be happy to give you any feedback I can. Just share the work in the Q+A Section when you are done!

I am new at digital illustration but have been a painter, sketcher, etc.... for many years. Some basics should be covered at the beginning or maybe I just missed them because the presenter moves very quickly and didn't provide a great outline at the beginning.

This class is for an older version of Procreate. He is very good at explaining things but a lot was changed in the Procreate update. A lot of what he's doing isn't relatable to the current program I have.

This was a really great course to learn how to navigate pro create and to digital paint a character. The tutor responds to message and is clear and easy to follow throughout the course. Its made so much easy that he gives you the same brushes he uses during the course too. Highly recommend this course to anyone wanting to unleash the artist within

It's always interesting to watch experienced artists work. There were some useful tips, but this did not seem like a "beginner" course. A lot of "artist jargon" was used but not explained. My only real complaint is the Pencil and hands needed to be shown while drawing, especially when shadows, shading, and textures were being created ... as it was really hard to follow along. Thank you for this course.

Too long to be just as simple as a youtube video. Search for "procreate for begginers" and you have everything this course has to offer. Also, only two sections. Is it enough to create awesome digital art? I don't think so. Would like a refound.

Great course. Robert explained everything in a clear and concise manner. I had heard so much about Procreate and when i bought it I saw the potential but was initially overwhelmed by the interface. I Knew some basics from working with other apps but i had not even scratched the surface. This course saved me a great deal of time and effort of trying to do it on my own. Don't wait, get this course , learn procreate and make stuff.

Zum Schluss ist es sehr schnell (letzten 3 Kapitel ) geworden und man hat am Beispiel nicht gesehen, wo gerade etwas angepasst und gezeichnet wurde. Erst nach öfteren Vor und Zurückspulen konnte man die Änderung erfassen. Dies machte es einem schwer, vor allem wenn man die Technik noch nicht beherrscht. Aber es war ein guter Einstieg.

This procreate class was worked really awesome ever since I first tried Autodesk Sketchbook, Adobe Sketch, SketchClub and Tayasui sketches apps. And it gives me not too hard nor easy, but having a best time experience on my mini iPad. Also, I'm just having a hard time to figured out on my mini iPad, and it's best to get a better iPad Pro. Well, it's fun to study on Procreate and getting excited.
