Why take this course?

**UPDATED: Now using Tensorflow 2. Please post in Q&A if you have any trouble. I'm here to help**

**UPDATED 11-2021: Added a section on Practical Transfer Learning**

TensorFlow is by far, the most popular library for deep learning. Backed by Google, it is a solid investment of your time and efforts if you want to succeed in the area of machine learning and AI. The issue most people face is that getting started with Tensorflow guides usually delve too deeply into unnecessary mathematics.

That is where this course comes in. While some theory is important, a lot of it is just not needed when you're just getting started!

This course is for you if you are new to Machine Learning but want to learn it without all the complicated math. This course is also for you if you have had a machine learning course but could never figure out how to use it to solve your own problems.

In this course, we will start from very scratch. This is a very applied course, so we will immediately start coding even without installation! You will see a brief bit of absolutely essential theory and then we will get into the environment setup and explain almost all concepts through code. You will be using Keras and Tensorflow 2.x -- one of the easiest and most powerful machine learning tools out there.

You will start with a basic model of how machines learn and then move on to higher models such as:

  • Convolutional Neural Networks

  • Residual Connections

  • Inception Module

  • Functional API of Keras / Tensorflow 2.x

  • Transfer Learning

In this course, we explain concepts using not only toy datasets but also a real-world dataset from the bioinformatics domain. While you may not be interested in this particular domain, you would still learn a lot of important concepts that are involved in taking data from the real world and feeding it to ML models. This is the aspect of ML that is missing from almost all courses available on the internet today! Doing this would mean that you would be able to solve problems of your own industry after finishing this course.

All with only a few lines of code. All the examples used in the course come with a starter code that will get you started and remove the grunt effort. The course also includes finished codes for the examples run in the videos so that you can see the end product should you ever get stuck.  Do checkout the preview lectures on this page to get a better feel of the teaching style used in this course and how it can help you learn quickly.

I provide unmatched support. All questions are answered within 24 hours. Try me and see ...  =]

This course does indeed fill in the gaps missing in other machine learning courses. Nicely done. And thank you for making this course.

Although the lecture is good, but the explanations are discussed too quick and few things are still left to understand. It is advisable to discuss some Algorithm first, before starting the code, which then can be applied to build the code and understand the logic behind. Just a suggestion !!

I'm not a math wiz, never have been, won't ever be. But I've been a programmer for most of my career who likes to experiment with almost anything opensource so I went through a frustrating time trying to find a book or resource that would help me understand ML/DL without having to first understand the incredible math behind it all. So this course was perfect and kudos to Dr Nauman for thinking of people like me and creating this introduction to ML/DL. I've already viewed all videos at least 2 times (some maybe 5-6 times) and I'm going to have to view the videos and do the code-along several more times before I really understand this stuff. But this should get me ready to start experimenting with DL in real life applications. Thanks very much Dr Nauman

les explication sont claires et précises. L exemple du 8x8 (64) pixel est bien mais certain pourraient etre confus car la matrice de l image est 14x14 ce qui pourrait créer de la confusion. Mais en claire c est très bien jusqu'à maintenant.

He's a very good teacher. Arguably the best one among courses I've taken in Udemy so far. If I must pick something negative about this, then it is the protein example that was a little bit over the top where you can learn the core concept from other easier examples.

Great course! :) The introduction to some of the data science concepts based on his own working project was truely interesting, and refreshing. Helpful tips along the way, on what things to watch out for, and what resources to tackle next, to keep learning in the field of deep learning. The teacher surely knows his stuff, friendly and competent. :) Thank you!

A lot of instructors have a habit of making huge jumps in difficulty or dance through a new concept without taking the time to fully explain it. What I like about Mohammad Nauman's course is that everything is paced so perfectly, and you wind up with several real practical examples that you can go back to. Whenever a new concept gets introduced, it's always with an explanation of what we're going to do, how we're going to do it, and then showing what happened. It fit my learning style perfectly.

The knowledge given is very deep and delivery was fast. It's easy to understand if you have prior knowledge of Mathematical calculations.

In the first part, the professor uses his own Bioinformatics research to teach you how to do a real-world deep learning project step by step, which I think is the best practice for any beginner. The second part is following Keras Official documentation, which is highly intuitive.

Very easy to understand even if you have never used Keras. The case study was very informative and related to my interest. And the instructor is just awesome, the way he explains and make the thing easier. I am really excited after taking this course. The teaching approach shows his experience in content knowledge. I recommend this for all computer science personals.

Hello, This course really given boost to my skills with machine learning. I had very little knowledge of machine learning and now I am able to understand practical meaning of regression, classification and deep learning. The buzz word of deep learning has really created a hype and I think it is no longer a mystry after I took this course. Thanks to the author.

I really like the "case study" discussed in this course by the instructor and also the way he tackled the problems of protein in his research paper, it was inspiring.

One of the best courses I've taken. The article by Dr. Nauman on free GPU access for experimentation was just what I needed right now. He seem extremely knowledgeable and covers just enough detail and everything is explained through code. I've tried to learn keras from different sources before but this is the best resource put together that made everything fit together perfectly.
