Learn to restrict powershell commands from executing on specific systems for security reasons.

Create various types of powershell scripts.

Create your own powershell commands user powershell functions

Learn how to remotely manage multiple clients and servers using powershell

Query hardware on local and remote computers using WMI and CIM. Run queries like identifying printer settings, local accounts on a computer, motherboard settings, BIOS/Firmware settings, battery health for laptops, and much more.

Hands-On Examples

Every command and script that this course covers is demonstrated. Sample scripts are available for download, containing many of the commands that I run in the lessons.

Follow along on your own computer or in a virtual Microsoft online lab, for free.

It is good one for a beginner and explained the concepts as very simple to understand. I was able to understand the concepts in an easy manner and also got more confidence on PowerShell. I really appreciate your efforts and it could be more better if can add few more details on Error handling and Functions. Thank you!

For me, it was a nice refresher course, and I even learned some things I had not noticed before. I appreciated how the instructor performed the concepts he taught so you could see how it could be applied in real-time.

Solid basics but very little practical application and ability to play with the code, especially since the MS Labs which are used in the course are no longer available.

It was a great course, very helpful, now I understand the basics of PS code. I think that could be better if the course add more practice and complex examples.

Good intro course, perhaps some very straightforward things could be cut down, or not repeated this many times.

The course is nice and interesting. Just the last lesson about hash tables... there is something I do not get. May be I missed the key point.... Anyway so far it is good use of my time. I recommend the course.

Kevin's explanation of the scripts is very helpful. I have PowerShell experience, however this course has taught me so much, for being half way through it!

Good intro until we got to the ChatGPT section. Wondering if the latter part of the course content is geared more towards learning "short cuts" vs how to learn what Powershell can be used for, in daily environments.

This course has really helped me. I needed to write a powershell script in a very short time. Without this course, I won't have been able to finish the project in time.
