More from Maven Analytics
So far I'm pretty impressed with the Maven Analytics team. I did the desktop course and then did this one and the quality and clarity of the courses is excellent. This course is much less involved than the desktop course since there are less topics to cover here but its a good course and really gives you a good sense of how everything connects together between Power BI service and desktop. A+
Its really a very clear understanding Course, for me it helped me improve my existing Power Bi Skills. Both the Power Bi Desktop and Power BI Service courses are very knowledgeable for any one to learn from the beginning or to brush up existing skills. I used to really wait for their Quiz section to test myself during the course.
Yes. I like the structure. I would also like to see a course on every visual and options they have. This would be helpful.
The course was very good. Covered most of my expectations. Scheduling of data refresh covered was time based. Would request you to include some event based triggering options to refresh the data. E.g. if in an external data base, if data load has completed, post this event, data refresh on the data model and report should be triggered.
Pro: The course provide good and important information. Con: The instructor teaching skills/approach need to be refined. Too much reading the obvious, too much repetition. On the other, often the clarification of new terms/concepts that are not fully understood by newbies, is not sufficient.
This is another excellent course from the Maven Team. Good content, teaching and documentation. Thank you Aaron.
Good course with some useful information, however feels rushed and not as much information as the first course in the series. Was some useful things, know how to create certain things, but not necessarily why I need to create them, which doesn't really help to implement what has been learnt in a different use case from that shown here. Had to go and back track on a couple of occasions especially when uploading the resources supplied with the course, as errors are thrown up as you don't have access to the datasets for those reports in their original location (tutors machine) so when uploading it throws an error. This wasn't mentioned and took a little while to figure out for myself. Overall, worth taking, but could be so much better if it was slowed down a little and went into more detail on certain areas.
Great course. The instructor does a great job going through all the features and gives you clear step-by-step instructions on how to do everything. Highly recommend.
Excellent course; complements and adds to the Power BI Desktop course that precedes it. Am learning a lot.
very good course save a lot of time to learn the same content by myself. I suggest to add more real world examples as case studies and real projects like kaggle projects or similar. Many thanks to you.
Hello Team, I am not very satisfied with the course as I wanted more practical knowledge and working on Power BI dashboards rather than theory part. Some lectures have been repeated in th e course. I do not wish to complete it. I have learnt lot of courses on Udemy but this one was not great! I would like a refund!
Best udemy course I have taken so far. Definitely worth the (sale) price. Just the the right length to cover the subject. I have other unrelated courses here that tend to drag everything out make you think you are getting more. So far everything from Maven Analytics has been good, but this is my favorite given that it is the only course I have seen for Power BI Service. If you are preparing for 70-778 its worth the (sale) price.
I've taken a lot of great courses on Udemy, but this one is by far the best. The content was perfect for filling in the gaps of knowledge for Power BI service, and the presenter does an excellent job of diving into the details when necessary as well as recapping and providing overall learning goals. It's amazing what 4 short hours will do for me professionally. Thanks for building such a great course!
So far so good. Well organized course materials and nice presentation. Thank you Aaron for your hard work on making this course more interesting to follow up.
Course is good to understand the concepts more clearly. But, I was expecting learning based on more tricky scenarios and examples.
