The facilitator uses simple data steps to clearly explain the aspects I have been struggling. I enjoyed the course, but it would be good if he provided exercises to challenge the students. I am going to do moe DAX courses, but this course gave me a great grounding about the basics

I really like the way he explains complicated topics. I started out developing Access apps in early 1990's, and have been programming Excel VBA, and Excel formulas since Excel first came out. Power BI Calculate was coming to me slowly until topic 11.9. After a couple of passes I realized it was close to SQL Where statements (in my opinion). Access and Excel did criteria differently, and I may be wrong, but I am finding that Power BI is combing the strengths of both. I may be wrong, but it is my way of seeing it. I really appreciate this instructor's method. I am 68 years old, and learning is still fun, and it is because of training like this.

I can tell that he knows what he's talking about, he has great insights on Dax, but I think he should have done more examples to explain context transition as it is a difficult concept to grasp, I have an idea of what it is but not confident
