It has some good content which can assist in spicing up your play , not really for a beginner looking to move to intermediate especially with the modern type of cool gospel movements

Good explanations. Slow enough. Spoken and written. Good demonstrations. Sometimes goes a little fast in the demonstrations.

simple yet very powerful techniques to help the music sound great. It use to feel like magic when I heard other keyboardist do the same, but now I understand.

I'm learning so many little things from this. Though I spend about 80% of my time practicing, the 20% where I'm listening to Kingsley ties it all together and makes it much easier to understand

Very good course, so easy to follow. I took it just after the Piano by Ear also from Kingsley, because I thought it would be a good addition to the first one, and I did not regret about it. It will add to your practice more fills and runs to make songs sound beautiful. Kingsley also shows how to play an accompaniment to the vocalist but also how to play a melody with accords and fill it with embellishments. So beautiful, thank you. I highly recommend it to everyone who just started to learn piano and what to improve their chord playing skill, or to these people who know the chords and what to make them sound better, fuller.

This is a great course, the instructor explains the concepts very well. For a start, I found the lesson on scale fingerings very useful as I have always had trouble with the sharp/flat keys, but there are many more simple but great sounding ideas here.

The lessons are easy , yet very destructive in the format used in teaching. The voicing of the lessons is a little monotone to listen too but descriptive in his lesson formats’ The lessons so far are pretty basic but just helpful enough if just starting to play kys of any kind.

This part was a very crucial part. I think it could have been explained much better and broken down more specifically on which melody keys are being played with the chords and why to choose those to play together.

Good, concrete techniques you can immediately implement. The only bad thing is he takes way too long to explain a concept. Each 10 minute lesson can be shrunk down to 2~4 minutes.

This is what I've also being looking for. And the breaking down of it, is just right. I follow and understand, and can apply it.

Very disappointed there is no music showing the order of notes played ie when the bass runs are played in relation to the chord fills above

I am enjoying the course. Already learned a few rules that are new to me and will be helpful. He has a very gentle voice and teaching style. I am looking forward to the course, but know that learning the material is my responsibility. Thank you for producing your course and thank you Udemy for making it available.

I love this teacher! He has a good voice and patience in explaining all steps. Just I wish pictures showing cords could be shown at a slower pace.
