Photoshop For T-shirt Design: For Beginners

Learned some but already knew a lot of what he went over. Sometimes he would get confused in instruction and it would confuse me with writing down instruction

Definitely for ultra beginner Photoshop skills. Instructor speaks so slowly and softly at such a slow pace, frequently taking a long time to get to the point. Very difficult to keep my attention. Course lacks engagement or practice mods. Barely talks about T-shirt designing in any manner. I wanted to know what makes a good design, settings needed for files to upload, and good ways/services to use; which I feel is intentionally left out to promote a book and website. Also, the only time he's applying skills directly to T-shirt creation, he's incorporating other services from his website which we don't already have access to, weren't mentioned at the beginning, and never discussed how to use or access. (advertising himself) If this course weren't a marketing ploy for himself & marketed simply as Ultra Beginner Photoshop, I'd give it 4 stars, as there is definitely skills taught here that have a value for learning if you have no idea what Photoshop does. However, the pace and lack of engagement still make it difficult to stay awake.

If anybody reads this, don't buy this course. 1. This course has only 41 videos from which 10 are absolutely usless 1 minute long talking videos about what is in the next video (Good concept but not used well here) and first few videos are introduction stuff.. So what you have left is not even 30 videos of actual content. 2. It is called Photoshop for T-Shirt design, but there is only one T-Shirt design, that you will do at the end of the course. The rest is just learning photoshop basics in a very hectic way. 3. All the videos that tries to teach you something are done so badly, that this is not even worth a try. It is very outdated, it teaches very bad practices, that you really should not be doing in photoshop. Conclusion: I bought it, couse I wanted to learn tshirt design and that did not happen. this teaches photoshop basics and it does it vary badly. If you want to learn photoshop basics, buy some bestseller course on udemy. Not this one P.S. If you buy this piece of junk, make sure you finish it in the first 30 days, so you can refund it in time :)

It's good so far. I'm hoping to get more into the specifics on t-shirt design and not just Photoshop itself, though it was a good review for me.

No resource files and only about 30 minutes (of 6 hours) of the course is about actually creating a t-shirt.

way too slow, videos for the simplest things are too long, and he doesnt mention shortcut keys for the different tools, like v for the move tool, or w for the selection tool etc, im watching bc i paid , otherwise id just find another photoshop video, no offence just my perspective so far.. doesnt seem to really know his way around the software,

I bought this course, and for what reason it's not loading well. The other courses I bought loaded fine. I contacted the instructor as I was having an issue, and I never received a reply. I even reached out via the instructor YouTube page and still nothing.

Gary, you are AWESOME. This guy makes things so simple and gives you tips and tricks in this course that you can actually USE as a beginner with no graphic design experience and still come out looking like a pro. I cannot wait to dive deeper with the next course.

This course is very good if you know nothing about photoshop. With the knowledge of this course, you'll know the basics of photoshop tools and will be able to see advanced content on your own.

Yes, this is my first time learning what Photoshop is all about and the difference between Pixel & Vector.

im 20% in but I love the content so far, the instructors voice is really soothing makes it easy to listen to plus he presents the content in a easy to digest way

As a beginner, this course was just what I needed. As suggested, I will continue to practice using the techniques that I learned in this course.

I like this course because it doesn't assume any previous background. The instructor also highlights what is important and presents things clearly. I bought another product that cost more and I don't even use it for I got confused right from the first lesson. This one fits my needs.
