I think I have a good handle on my finances, however I wanted to get information from a professional and gauge what I have been doing.

This was a really good course. Even as a working adult, there were a lot of things I learned for the first time. I will be going back to the Borrowing Money section. It gave great information about student loans and the break down. Thank you for this course.

This course was very informative. The topics, the delivery, the information was very well received. Although some of the information on loans and insurance varies (I'm from the Caribbean) most of the information presented in this course explained a lot of the questions I had about these topics. Thanks for that!

I used to be a Customer to banks but never liked my experience without fully understanding the difference, and based on a friends recommendation I switched to Credit Unions. Never looked back. Thanks for explaining the difference.

THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN WHAT A BANK DOES AND WHAT A CREDIT UNION DOES AND WHY THE INTEREST RATES PAID BY EACH ARE DIFFERENT.

I will give a 4 star from how well they do explain financing, but time to time it can get a little boring and a little hard to keep of from the 5 hour class, but all in total, it is amazing and good, it does provide stable and strong info, and it does tell you all the little things to know about financing.

Good coverage of the basics of personal finance, I want my high school senior to take most of this now and then all again, before graduating from college. I would have liked a small introduction to investments.

I enjoyed the course immensely. I had every intention on finishing it day one, but my work schedule prevented that. The information was concise and delivered in a manner where I was able to understand it and retain what I heard. I'm glad that I found this course and the other courses taught by Mr. Ron Trucks.

I wish got this course when my wife and I moved to the US about +3years ago. It would have helped understanding the basic issues like insurance and tax forms, that we learned the hard way. We got into a loop with health insurance in the Affordable Care system until we found out the hard way that there is a minimum income to qualify. It would be nice lessons on financial advice like SS, Medicare and preparing immigrants to understand the system more so if you are already a senior. I would recommend this course to anyone just moving here so they get the very basic information to get settled.

The course provides useful and practical advice on personal finance for US students. The instructor is engaging and very knowledgeable on this subject, which covers a lot of subjects with examples, relating to personal finance.

Yes, good match so far. Basic stuff that I should know about the difference b/t banks and credit unions, the elements of a loan, how insurance works (but didn't). I DO know grammar however. Instructor uses "ran" when it should be "run," as in "credit unions are democratically RUN" (not ran). ... later parts of course are good - all stuff I THOUGHT I knew, but I didn't really know the basics. It's generating a lot of questions for me for further research. Ron makes it simple and his content is well-organized. He has a nice voice, easy to listen to. Also he doesn't give advice, but instead points out what people need to know and research in making their basic financial decisions. Good!
