Why take this course?

In this course we will be continuing our learning and understanding of OSINT. If you took my previous course ( OSINT: Open-Source Intelligence For hackers, investigators, and everyone else) then this will be a continuation from that. In this course we continue learning about additional tools along with the how and why. We create burner accounts for OSINT, criminal background checks, vehicle lookups, using Linux for OSINT, and much more. There is a growing need for OSINT skills as there is a increase in cyber crime, fraud, misinformation, disinformation campaigns, etc.

This course is ideal for hackers, pentesters, investigators, HR, and everyone else. I appreciate that you are taking a look and hopefully joining this course. I work hard to provide great content and support. Feel free to check out my original OSINT course if you haven't already and preview the videos and read the reviews. This course is built and expands your knowledge from the previous OSINT 1 course as we dive deeper into the amazing world of OSINT (Open source intelligence) as we continue our journey.

Unfortunately some links are no longer accessible. The whole course is very US-focused. The speaker knows his craft and knows what he is talking about.

Overall, the course is fantastic. I really didn't like the blatant bias shown with the topics chosen for the misinformation section. I won't be taking another course from this instructor again.

This course is great. It helped to increase my OSINT knowledge. As a Canadian learner, some of the more American-oriented resources might not be as useful to me but the rest could be things I'll refer back to once I find a job in the OSINT world.

I took this course after taking "Level 1". I mistakenly considered "Level 2" as a more advanced course, instead, this is just a continuation of the previous, showing a few more tools, but not going into more details on how to actually conduct an investigation, maybe deep diving into Maltego and showing how all the pieces really fit together, instead of just showing a generic slide with a flowchart... All in all, the course is alright, and my comments regarding the first one apply to this one as well. I am disappointed that 90 % of the tools demonstrated here have now, in June 2023, completely changed. Some of them are out of business, and some have changed their business model now offering only paid services. Most of the Python tools won't install (nor compile) with Python 3.11, which is the default version shipped with the TL VM. I managed to get them running creating virtual Python environments using PyEnv, but that's only because I have a developer background; I am not sure the "average" user would be able to do the same. In any case, even if you get them running, most are really outdated, and not maintained anymore... In conclusion, if it's on sale, it's worth a shot, but I wouldn't recommend paying full price.

Great info, maybe too much, but also nice that it's broken down to separate videos for easier review. While all of the info didn't benefit me, some of it will be useful.
