This course is wildly out of date, I got to the bootstrap section (video 17), and the command doesn't work. I get a random error, many people have already posted that they have the same problem, and the instructor hasn't replied to anything. I wish I could get my money back. It's a deployment on Ubuntu 16.04, where 22.04 is the current release. Basically, this course is worthless in 2023.

An enormous amount of information to absorb and internalize. The explanation so far has been of sufficient detail to satisfy me and browsing ahead in the material has shown that deeper dives into components are yet to come. This review is written early on in the course due to UDEMY forcing it and not because the course has sufficiently progressed to give a full review. I will update this when I have completed the material presented. Thus far this was money well spent.

The course is very interesting, it is being very insightful for me as I started working with OpenStack for almost a year, but with the containers version, so seeing how this is installed on virtual or bare metal environments make things clearer to me.

He's explaining well, goes slowly - no rush! Good course for learning openstack. Prior knowledge needed - virtual box installation, OS installation, networking concepts - as these are not the part of this learning module. Most users are stuck in practices since author is no more giving feedback. It's a 2 years old course, and of course some commands/release used are no more supported and leading errors and misconfiguration.
