I am starting and embarking on this specific course. I have previously enrolled on several other specialised courses with this tutor and really thoroughly enjoyed it. I appreciate his style of interpreting and conveying the info at hand. Straight forward communication and interpretation, which I particularly like. Highly recommended.

I wasn't entirely sure what to expect in signing up and whether or not it was going to be relevant to my current needs, but I am really pleased with the content so far. I am taking this course to get a feel for whether or not I won't to pursue a Masters in Counselling (as opposed to a Clin Psy path). I have a Psychology undergrad and a GDip Tchg and have worked in both recruitment and teaching for years. With three young kids I want to be sure of my path before diving in and investing in a career change. I want to make sure I'm aligning myself with something that's going to be congruent. I really prefer the ethos of Counselling with acknowledgement of the Ahurei (Māori word for uniqueness) of people. I want to work with people, alongside them not treating or fixing, but understanding, accepting and supporting them. I've had exposure as a client to both Clin Psychs and counsellors, but I feel that I need to know more about what it might be like to be on the opposite side of the room. I am loving the heart and soul of this course. Thanks Kain, awesome programme so far! I am a NZ Māori judging you positively on your pounamu necklace too! Tu meke!
