The course did its job. For me, it was like a refresher of writing basics. Sometimes the little things get lost in the bigger picture, so it was helpful.

This was a great course! The instructor was clearly knowledgeable in the material and had some great insights for novel writing in today's world. Also he does a great job of simplifying the material to what is actually needed on this topic for your average novel writer.

This is one of several classes I have taken from Steve Alcorn. I find his workshops concise, but full of information. This class in particular was a good review for me and gave me a solid foundation for the elements my novel.

I think his course is good; He's giving a good overview. I've taken other courses and do not need to go into too much detail, I just needed some reminding of concepts, and this so far is covering what I need to know.

Such a good course, and so well presented. I appreciate it when I can both hear and see the person doing the teaching. As we know, show and tell beats mere telling every time! I recommend this course with enthusiasm.

Clear, concise explanations and examples of how to make point of view choices. The part on setting was great - worth the entire course by itself!
