I bought this course thinking it was really going to refresh and help me to become a better note taker. Really, this was not the case. Note taking is about capturing the important information in such a way as to make it useful during reviews later on. I di not get this from this course. Not helpful, sorry

nothing you can't get for free on YouTube or articles but I am going to keep watching and hope for something a bit more tangible. The note-taking strategies section was a perfunctory framework and then a laundry list review of note taking apps. Not much use but the graphics were shiny

slow content driven, instructions are too generic and common sense. There is not really a technique that helps narrow the notes takers..

I thought that there was a lot of "fluff", especially about the plants and sitting by a window. I think you are trying to cover a wide basis and I get that. However, perhaps the second half of the course will get into the practical aspects and techniques around note taking.

Some quite good points, but generally a bit vague and abstract. Could benefit massively from using actual examples to illustrate strategies and how to's. The lecture about setting the mood could have been considerably shorter, and incorporated into another bit, as it doesn't actually feel that relevant (whereas other bits could have benefited from being a bit longer). But nice enough course, and like I said, it did have some good points to keep in mind.

Pretty straight-forward note-taking basics. Well produced and presented, and was explained clearly. Perhaps a demonstration of how the instructor would have taken notes would have been helpful so viewers can better assess the level of their own note-taking skills vis-avis the knowledgable instructor. For example, include a downloadable page of text, have the viewer read it, and then walk them through how it could be noted effectively.
