Yes. I am a beginner that is stuck in automatic mode. I am headed to Montana in July and want to be able to capture good night sky photos
It may be that the course is a bit dated but I was a bit disappointed. Lessons 32 and 33 are identical. In Lesson 43 Full moon photography from the previous lesson was mentioned - but there was no full-moon photography in the previous lesson. Lesson 48 a comment is made about making sure that our polariser was fitted, but this is the first and only mention of a polarising filter. I wish I had a dollar for each time the phrase "Night Sky Photography" was used.
Working and living where I do, it is in total darkness for a big part of the winter. The course has helped me with improving on my skills. No if I could find a way to keep my camera from freezing, it will be better.
I have enrolled to 2 night photography courses and this is the best one in my opinion. It is an absolutely fabulous course! I have learned so much! Thank you
Matt has a great ability to teach and make photography simple. My skills have come on leaps and bounds since taking his courses!

This has been a good refresher. Also, I gained a better understanding of sensor-size, limitations, and benefits.
It is actually a bit over my head especially with regard to the editing however it made me feel better to know that even a true pro like Matthew does edit his photos. I have been struggling with the focusing/depth of field issue so it was very helpful for that. Great class!!
This course is just what I needed to help me better understand night photography. I had a fairly good understanding but this course is giving me more confidence.
