CPE Accredited course (Continuing Professional Education)
If you are a manager or entrepreneur in charge of a team, this course is for you.
This course has the ambition to build a bridge between a century of science and 21st century managers. A bridge between how our brain works and how to use that knowledge to improve our communication and leadership abilities.
To understand how and why Leadership works, we first need to understand what triggers us. We’ll be diving deep into our subconscious motivational processes. We’ll have a look at our brain, call it our ‘hardware’ and the subconscious programs running in it, that’s basically our software.
So expect tools, concrete and simple tools that you will be able to use right away with your team and colleagues. In the end, the aim of this course is to open the way for a new understanding of motivation and communication, towards a new, highly effective and sustainable model for leadership in this 21st century.
But most of all, by the end of this course, my aim is that you, as a manager, as a leader, will have understood what a crucial role you play in your team and in its success. And that you will be able to leverage that knowledge and guide your team to a new level of collaboration and engagement.
The Science behind the course...
I will provide a framework based on the latest insights in cognitive psychology and related fields. Within this framework I will present you studies, research and experiments on human behavior and I will show you how they apply to leadership and team management.
Behavioral sciences have gained an increased understanding of who we are as a species, what motivates us, what de-motivates us. Why we follow some people, and why we seemingly contradict ourselves so often.
The insights gained through social psychology, ethology, cognitive sciences and more recently the rapid breakthroughs in neurosciences thanks to MRI’s and advances in neuro-imagery, have given science a whole new understanding of who we are as human beings.
But then, when we look at the corporate world and management styles, there’s like this huge gap between both worlds.
Now this course, the Science of Leadership, aims to build a bridge between both. Giving managers the understanding of what drives their teams, and the tools to act upon it.

I enjoyed very much taking the course, and learned a lot about our brain and about leadership. Hope I can use it, in the form of contributing to better teams! Thanks a lot
I could definitely see my own personality traits in more than one personality type. I could also fit my team members into certain personality types. This is a very important indication that you cannot apply a blanket management style of one size fits all, you have to consciously manager each individual.
This course gives a great insight in the different brain parts that are activated in different scenarios and how you can use this knowledge to handle the behavior/ situation in the best possible way. It is being presented in a very educational way by combining, science, humor and real-life situations.
Great course. I am confused as to why I did not receive a certificate and why it says I have 1 hour and 33 minutes left of the course when I completed each module.
So far I am elevated about the content as well as the general structure of this course. Comprehensible and very relative.
Please provide references for things like the '8 personality types' and the 'three layers of the limbic brain'.
Very informative and well explained course presented in an accessible and engaging way. Other Udemy courses can be good in content but disengaging as the content only seems to be ‘read out’ often with repetitive intonation, this is not the case for this course. I can highly recommend this course to those interested in understanding the psychology of leadership on a deeper level.
According to my own experience As young Leader generation this course will take me to my target in future
As you can see that this course is all about the leadership skills, After the completion i would like to say that i have an amazing experience after completing this course. It covers almost all the aspect which a leader should have to lead his/her team and all the personalities that a team can possess, Thanking you, Regards, MUSKAN GARG
The content was very interesting and the Author made it engaging with his level of knowledge and enthusiasm. I feel like I can use the tools in this course to better lead my team - thank you!
Great way to explain the science of leadership and how we can control and pull ourselves towards greatness
Lot of Learning, of Self, my team, shortfalls and right method. Must of every employee to become a future Leaders, not just for Leaders.
The course was interesting and the material was good. However, it's more a scientific course than a practical one. I learnt new information from it but I'm not a fan of too much theoretical courses. If you are interested in science of the human brain and its relation with leadership, then this course would be interesting for you. Otherwise, you might look for other practical leadership courses.
Great contents and Great Course. Thanks a ton Gregory Caremans for crafting such an amazing course to influence the whole world. Thank you to make us understand that road to success is by using pre-front and paleo-limbic brain. I would request everyone to go through these courses !! Thank you.
I have taken other leadership courses in the past. I was recommended to taking this course. Before starting, I was thinking, "another leadership course, same thing again." But I was wrong. This course takes a very different approach showcasing numerous ways a leader can connect with their team. Definitely worth every minute!
