The content didn't really explain neural networks properly. For a Swift developer with no background in Python, the subject would still remain an enigma even after watching the videos. The explanation wasn't deep or clear enough, especially when it came to the back-propagation steps. The code was provided as a rushed typing exercise with no explanation whatsoever, and the method provided was an ancient inefficient approach using objects rather than matrices which all modern implementations use for speed especially in the deep-learning and convolutional NN's fields. The course does provide an introduction about neural networks, but I can hardly imagine anyone with no prior knowledge to be able to code their own neural nets in Swift and train them after watching the videos. I think my only option is still to try to find a decent back-propagation explanation and tutorial in Python and port it over to Swift.
