Thought this would be more about learning what a NAS is than specific directions to set up a particular brand, but it was a good course for what it was actually intended for.

Not bad course as for the begginners like me! May be the author shoud update it time after time, because Synolgy completely changed some DSM programs into another ones (e.g Synology Drive is quite new, but was mentioned here under its old name), and it takes a lot of time to find what was replaced in DSM and what its new name and functions. But generally the course is good for those who first time open a Synology NAS world! Thank you!

It is very nice and very informative course with a very short videos and direct to the point without waffle!

GREAT for beginner stuff. Not what I was looking for. Needed to know how to setup and get going on using. transfer files, network folder connection, etc.

The demonstrated features of NAS in the Network Section were the basics and only the default options for setting things up were presented. Since this is a course either for free or for beginners, some more advanced options could be shown and explained.
