For an absolute beginner like me, this was a great course to start making soaps! I knew nothing about the process before, and before finishing the course, I've already successfully made two different batches of soap. Christina is a wonderful teacher and has explained everything in detail for a beginner to understand the cold-process method thoroughly. I loved the course and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a guide to start.

Good content but some things are skipped over. Would be good to have had a lesson on using the fragrances and explained ratios and process of that. Less on repeating about the safety on the lye mixture. It really doesn't need to be repeated as much as it is.

I am a complete beginner and I made now, with the help of this course, my first two batches of soap. The basic recipe in this course makes a perfect, nicely smelling soap even without adding any color or fragrance. My second batch is a Dandelion Soap with dandelions from our yard, infused in oil and dandelion tea, and it turned out fantastic. What I especially like about this course: It really sticks to the basics. No expensive tools are recommended, like in youtube videos for example. Also the mention that the oil should not be the most expensive one, because it will turn into soap anyway, saved me a lot of money. Also she really goes into detail, with calculations and a lot of additional resources to download and keep handy. I love the instructor and her style and enthusiasm and I think its the best course out there to start. Thank you!

The sound is really low. I had to turn my volume up on my laptop to the highest number and put headphones in. I normally don't have to do that. However, the teacher is doing a great job so far.
