Why take this course?

MySQL Workbench is a unified visual tool for database architects, developers, and DBAs. MySQL Workbench provides data modeling, SQL development, and comprehensive administration tools for server configuration, user administration, backup, and much more. MySQL Workbench is available on Windows, Linux and Mac OS X.

MySQL Workbench enables a DBA, developer, or data architect to visually design, model, generate, and manage databases. It includes everything a data modeler needs for creating complex ER models, forward and reverse engineering, and also delivers key features for performing difficult change management and documentation tasks that normally require much time and effort.

MySQL Workbench delivers visual tools for creating, executing, and optimizing SQL queries. The SQL Editor provides color syntax highlighting, auto-complete, reuse of SQL snippets, and execution history of SQL. The Database Connections Panel enables developers to easily manage standard database connections, including MySQL Fabric. The Object Browser provides instant access to database schema and objects.

MySQL Workbench provides a visual console to easily administer MySQL environments and gain better visibility into databases. Developers and DBAs can use the visual tools for configuring servers, administering users, performing backup and recovery, inspecting audit data, and viewing database health.

MySQL is an open-source relational database management system (RDBMS). Its name is a combination of "My", the name of co-founder Michael Wideness's .

MySQL is the most popular Open Source Relational SQL Database Management System. MySQL is one of the best RDBMS being used for developing various web-based software applications. MySQL helps users store, organize, and retrieve data.

This is a good course the instructor has broken down the material into small sections that he explains in detail how use the My SQL workbench. The instructor does not skip a step. Very good way of teaching one does not fill overwhelmed

I have used the database for some time now. "MySQL and MySQL Workbench for Beginner" is an excellent refresher. It makes things super clear on MySQL. I am learning Workbench now! to manage my warehouse. It's great and superb. I highly recommend the course to all.

The worst course I made in Udemy so far. It's simply horrible. Bad didatics, no planning, the concepts are loose and with no connection with the real world. The teacher simply reads what he sees on his screen. Keep away from this course if you like your money and time.

Would have liked slides to study. Seemed to be reading MySQL documentation manual. More examples and "try this" exercises. So far, more of a demo than a training session. Disappointing. I felt like the instructor read the MySQL Workbench documentation, but skipped several key parts. I admit, I was spoiled by my first class with Udemy. Colt Steele was the instructor and his classes were very clear, with slides, examples and exercises. We could easily follow along with the examples and were walked through the exercises. In this class, MySQL Workbench, we were given the bare minimum of examples and then told to "play" with the data and create our own queries. I felt there was minimum guidance and the lack of exercises with explanations was frustrating.

No explanations of what everything does. I got a few little hints here and there. Nothing In depth just a skim though workbench while reading what everything is off the tab itself. I expected more

The targeted audience is hard to determine. This course is _very_ slow paced, repetitive in places, and skips some basic concepts (like why databases have multiple tables and how to use them). It appears that some new content was added without considering that some content needed to be either deleted or altered. This course is certainly NOT worth $129.00. I doubt that it's worth $18.00.

So far, so good. It's told me some things I already knew but in a concise way that served as a good refresher.

The discussion of preferences should focus on options that are typically changed. The preferences of fonts and color was replicated in two areas of the lectures.
