Quick overview

This course is designed to make you a real, professional MongoDB developer with deep understanding of many different MongoDB features. After this course you will know everything you need, to work with MongoDB comfortably. This course is a MongoDB complete training.

Resources

So that you can follow all the queries executed during this course, I have attached a file that contains all the collections I've used. So you will be able to repeat every query and check everything in practice. You will be able to perform your own queries.

Quizzes

For many sections you will find Quizzes. These quizzes contain about 150 questions in total. These quizzes are designed to be hard. They are not there to make you feel good because you know the answer to every single question. They are there to remind you of some things, to draw your attention to certain cases and to make you a better developer at the end. And this is the goal of this course.

Homeworks

For two sections: CRUD and Aggregation you will find some homework. You will need to write some queries, to master your skills. For each homework you will find solutions, so you can compare your queries or just take a peep to help yourself out.

SQL backround

In some cases we will compare MongoDB to relational databases, to see the differences. This, I think, will be quite useful if you have a background in relational databases.

But you don't have to be familiar with relational databases at all to learn MongoDB

This course handles everything you need to work with MongoDB; I used it to prepare myself before working with my latest company and it was very useful: it explained 95% of useful development topics. Even if this course handles the 3.2 version, this is still very good also for the latest versions that added just some other features like transactions and other aggregate operators (which are however documented on MongoDB page whenever you need them). P.S.: I'm both developing and handling the infrastructure with MongoDB in a cloud environment.. so I know what I'm talking about :)

A very thorough course on MongoDB. Instructor did a pretty good job in not only covering development related stuff like querying and aggregation, but administrative things like replication and sharding. One of the best resources in the internet for MongoDB

Great course! I bought several such courses with this subject. In this was the most content. He has extensive programming experience. The author probably put in this course hundreds of hours of work. If he creates another course in programming then I will definitely buy it. Such a price for such knowledge is a bargain. Cheers KS

He has not explained the topics in depth. He could have demystified the topics, so that we can get complete knowledge on the topics. Also His accent is sometimes not clear. Not able to understand some words he spoken. There is background noise too. OVER ALL, NOT SATISFIED WITH THE COURSE.

Loved the course, full of information and I found it to be on par with my study guide for the mongo developer exam. Even though the current version of MongoDB is 3.4 and this course covers MongoDB 3.2 the syntax and overall principles are some what the same. You deserve way more students then you currently have! I highly recommend this course. p.s please do a Mongo DBA Course if possible :)

This course is just perfect. Thanks to lecturer; he explains everything very clearly. If there is any trick, he explains them as well. Also, he makes suggestions if there is a better way to do it. His examples are very clear to understand and his English is very clear and simple.

Definitely 5 stars. After watching promo of this course I was afraid it will be hard to understand this course because of teachers accent. But if there are people like me who have doubts about this course, please don't. Yes accent is quite heavy, but teacher speaks slowly and explains everything with enough details. I'm really enjoying learning from this course. Also you will get a fast respond from the teacher to your questions, even if those questions are not specifically related to this course :) I bought this course with a discount and I even feel bad paying such a small amount of money for so much content.

I had to improve my very basic MONGO DB knowledge and was looking for a course like this one. This one's really good, very comprehensive and what's most important in my case - contains multiple real - life examples that already have been very helpful at my work. I believe that this is the best course about MongoDB on Udemy! Sure there is a lot of lectures, but that is becouse this course covers so many topics. It is a complete course. And everything is well explained, ane easy to understand. I'm sure that even if you know MongoDB, you will learn a lot from this course.
