This course is just what I needed, well explained. I use studio one 6.5. The file needed is a bit different because it was make in older version but worked. Also nice that I can replay any time. Thx

Gary does not explain each step as he goes along, meaning if he changes something he does not explain how to do and undo something in detail. Therefore I have to quit the lesson and go figure out how and what he did. I prefer a thorough teaching like Thomas George does in ALL his steps of teaching.

Interesting how the eq helps the instrument stand out in the crowd. With the compressor, we emphasize the sound - we give it a punch. Or make it gentler.

I thought it was a very well thought out course. Very easy to understand. Eventhough i have experience mixing, I still gained a wealth of knowledge. My only compliant would be needing to see mixing in other genres. Especially electronic music.

I started recording and releasing my own songs after singing for over 30 years, during the pandemic 2020. I have been using Studio One 5 Pro, since 2021, and this is by far the best course I have found for this DAW, everybody seems to use Pro Tools or Ableton, but Having looked at them both, I prefer Studio One. This course has taught me so much, from setting up a project to mix, right through to the mastering process, yet it is all so well laid out, easy to follow, and makes everything seem so simple to understand. Quite a few times I've caught myself going "Oh yeah, why have I not realised That" it's made things so much clearer, and a lot faster and easier Well Done Halfway Through the course and I've been mixing one of my tracks during the course, can't believe how much my mixing has improved and how much better the track sounds compared to the original mix

It's not very detailed in regards to the mixing process especially with gain staging. Other than that, it's fine.
