Hello! My name is Sabelo September. I am a Producer, SAMA Nominated Mixing Engineer, and Content Creator based in Cape Town, South Africa.

I've been in the Producer/Mix Engineer seat for nearly a decade, and I have produced Instrumentals featured on NETFLIX Reality Series, worked with many independent musicians, and record labels. I have produced & Engineered a variety of genres ranging from Hip Hop, RnB, Dance, Afro Beat, and more.

If you are new to Mixing or still can't figure out why your Mixes sound like _ _ _, this Course will give you a 3D view and simplify your Mixing approach... I remember going through one Tutorial after another and still couldn't get the sound I want. Mixing seemed so hard until I stopped making it so and started developing my own "Real World" way of seeing it. Please don't be intimidated by the term "Audio Mixing", it's simpler than you think and I will prove it in this Course.

What to expect in the Course:

1. You going to learn how to mix multiple instruments into one Stereo File.

2. You going to learn how to turn your Mixdown Stereo File into a Fat, Punchy, Loud, and competitive Master.

3. A different and practical approach to Mixing

4. You will learn why we use certain plugins and how to use them in your mixes.

To follow along:

FL Studio 20 software (preferably FL Studio Producer Edition or above)
A Working PC, Laptop, iMac, or MacBook
A Basic Understanding of Music
FL Studio 20 software (preferably FL Studio Producer or above)
Basic Music Production skills are desirable, but not necessary
Must be willing to Learn!

Honestly I can say this class has been an amazing refresher course for me! I love how easy it is to understand the basic concepts of mixing and mastering by such an amazing teacher! The only issue I have is with the audio encoding. It’s hard to hear the small differences that the teacher performs with the plugins but the lesson is learned either way.

Wonderful course! I saw your mixing tutorial on YouTube months ago. and was searching for your next videos on YouTube but was unable to find you. Finally, I found you :) For those who said you used the 3rd party plugins. I suggest the focus on the method as the method is the same for stock and 3rd party plugins. What an excellent course. The demonstrator explains mixing and mastering concepts in the simplest terms possible, which is very helpful to beginners like me. I think maybe some content using creative effects could be a great addition. However, I understand there is a fine line between beginner-level and intermediate-level when it comes to creative effects. I am hoping the demonstrator releases an intermediate-level FL studio mixing course soon! Thanks :)

Very thorough and detailed; especially when explaining stock plugin methods opposed to 3rd party plug ins! I found myself watching the course and using my fl studio DAW at the same time and it pieced a lotta parts together for me. I hoped you would break down what the laws of each plug in was so i could understand the basics for each plug in... but this was still awesome, no doubt. I learned more than I ever learned from any other sources I've tried before running into your course. I actually signed up with Udemy just to take your course and I have no regrets at all. The Experience Was good. Instructor is also Responsive to doubts. He also has Advanced Tutorials which is recommended after the completion. This is Basic - Intermediate Level Course . He has not included automation, Buses and parallel Compression in this course but you can find this in his advanced Course.

I REALLY wish I would have found this sooner. Sabelo breaks everything down in a concise way that made everything so much easier. There are a lot of tutorials out there that make mixing seem so much more difficult, and being through many of them I thought I was hopeless, I could never get the mix I wanted.
