I'm about halfway through the java introduction and so far it's memorable and easy to follow. My only issue is the instructors joy over the number 69, which I felt was a bit inappropriate.

While the lectures themselves are shorter then I'm used to, the content itself is very densely packed, yet easy to follow. I am going over territory I'm already fairly familiar with, and yet I have no issues going through it once more due to the methods of information delivery. Very well done!

easy to understand. so far, I don't feel like it's going to fast like a lot of other coding classes on udemy

he explained the different code words in such good detail , i am known to forget things pretty quickly but after he explained the code words i was able to look away and and remember the words and what the mean.

** Just like in the video, this is a message from the future. I finished my review and then was presented with the checkboxes. There were 3 choices Yes/No/Not Sure. I gave one grade of NO. It would have been nice to be able to explain that choice in more detail, not just NO. In general, the explanations were clear but there were a few sticky points. I would have rather answered "Generally, but there were a few sticky places" and then given some examples. NO seems pretty harsh. ** * Back to the present :) I just finished the installation videos. I had a few problems that were hard to track down. I didn't get much help from the forum. Specifically. 1. My first installation failed. I finally had to delete everything and then reinstall. 2. There is a setup in the initial set up where you name something. net.name.mccourse. The step for this is only in the first lecture where you set up for learning java. if you know java, it is easy to miss this step. Later, when setting up gradle, you need this name to finish the setup of the first project. To compound the problem, the choice that you get when setting up the package for the MCCourseMod do not match the choices given by the author. There are other options that do match what he said, but you have to look for them. (if you didn't do the setup name in the first section, you can't make the changes since the button is greyed out. I went back a 3rd time, found the place where the name goes, entered it, and then I could make the changes. In the video, it might be nice to add a line about this. The author says to make the change, but without the previous step, you go in circles. 3. The video for the MCCourseMod needs to SLOW DOWN. I am working with two windows, but he makes the changes very quickly. It is hard to see what he is clicking. Usually, pausing the video solves this problem, but in this section, the process of pausing the video causes the windows to collapse so it is difficult to precisely position the video AND keep the windows and menu items in sync. In this section, a slower pace and extended window/menu views would be very helpful. On a positive note, it was very gratifying when Minecraft actually started. There was quite a bit of delay on my computer so I wasn't sure if I got it right, but eventually things started up.

I would say it was little difficult to understand and take all this information in but it was pretty good.

I love how at the end of EVERY lecture he says "so, yeah" then it just cuts off! ? 4 and a half star because he said "hell" in lecture 22 Reason is because I am using my dads account sooo yeah

Learning a lot of useful information from this course. The instructions and explanations are clear and concise. Everything has worked well for me so far.

Just what I was looking for, don't know what else I could ask for, it's just great and I've learned so much in just 1 day. Wonder how much I could learn if I kept on for a year. Definetly recommended.

Some people can teach and some people can't. This one can teach. Very organized and my only complaint would be the teacher is pretty quick which could be overwhelming for some but not worth a knock on the rating. Solid content and actually helping you understand what you're doing rather than telling you to just follow along.

Not too far into that course yet but I enjoy the pace and the in-depth detail. I'm in no way an experienced modder but I feel like I'm starting to understand the lingo
