Course not very organized, did not go through concepts with proper increments and the instructor could not even write DAX in proper format - bad for dealing with more complicated DAX codes. Also, the instructor did not properly use the concepts in demonstration. He tried to ask people to use DAX where same tasks could be done through PowerQuery, and he used PowerQuery incorrectly and concluded that DAX provides "more accurate" data - completely off-track.

This is a good course, and the instructor definitely knows his stuff. I wish he would have slowed down a bit, talked a bit more clearly, and really explained things in a bit more detail, though. Still, it goes into everything that it said it would, from DAX, to R, to gateways, and that was really helpful.

Can you ask Dan We if he can provide a DAX Studio Course, please? There are a lot of YouTube videos out there, but I really like Mr. We's method, and I really learn from him. I believe I will have taken all of his courses when I complete the next two, and would like more if he has any. Thank you.

I took the course to learn about "R" in Power BI. I didn't know about it and wanted to know more. The course provided an introduction which was what I wanted and now I have an understanding of what R was about. So this is the only course I have taken in the Master Power BI series. I found the instructor very knowledgeable about Power BI. The more complicated DAX expressions were impressive. I didn't rate the course higher because I would have liked homework, which forces the student to apply the course content. DAX expressions especially need to thought through and applied to really understand them. I also thought the course content was unorganized. For example, the one homework assignment, Final Project, didn't really use any of the content (although I liked how you grouped 2 visuals together). There is a lot of nice content here it just didn't feel cohesive. I may very well take more Master Power BI courses because the instructor is obviously very knowledgeable on the subject.

I was expecting something at a lower level. I was able to follow most of the content, but it would have been easier if the pacing of the lectures was a little slower and more focused. This was surprising to me because the pacing of Dan's Beginner to Advanced Masterclass was quite easy to follow. I will take more of Dan's classes and would recommend him as an instructor, this class was just a little fast-paced for my taste.

This is a good course but I do have some problems. I am partially deaf and because the presenter speaks very very quickly and jumps about when explaining what he's doing. I find it difficult to always keep up. However, I'm improving as the course continues. It feels unscripted as he often starts explaining something then says 'before I do that' and goes off and does something else then by the time hes got back to carrying on explaining, I've lost the thread. Having said that, repeated viewing at full screen mode and replaying anything I don't quiet hear the first time helps. Worth the investment, definitely.

I have taken all the other 7 courses and this is my last one . I must say quite some Advanced DAX in this one but Dan continues to deliver the courses with such clarity . When i started these courses in July 2018 i knew nothing about Power BI but now i am Power BI super user at work . Thank you Dan for your awesome content.
