Pretty good introduction to Metasploit for beginners. The labs should have been tested and actually work for a paid for course (i would have expected this from a YouTube video).

This course covers interesting Metasploit topics which are useful in the exploitation phase of target machines. Is kind of slow and short of explanations but is easy to understand what the instructor is doing. Recommended course to get started on Metasploit Framework.

I subscribed to this course only because it was free via a voucher. I know Metasploit, but was looking for some quick refresher and hopefully some fresh skills. It served that purpose. However, I felt that all this could have been done on some newer version of Windows, rather than on XP, which is almost a decade and a half old! Many times, the demo didn't go as planned, because the author wasn't prepared for it. This causes a small video to be unnecessarily longer. I am still happy with it, since I paid nothing for it, but wouldn't recommend it to someone who is thinking of purchasing it and certainly not to someone who is new to the topic. This is just a decent refresher on Metasploit at best.

A decent little primer if you've never touched Metasploit, although it has a lot of problems. It's clear that this course was thrown together somewhat ad-hoc with no thought or time given to testing the demos beforehand, or editing the video when they break. I suppose there is some value in watching someone fix something when it breaks, but it's not really what I would expect. The presenter is extremely dry and speaks very slowly. I watched the entire series on 1.5x speed, and went up to 2x occasionally. English is obviously not the presenters first language and he struggles occasionally with pronunciation. The first couple of videos contain a lot of redundant information. There's no discussion on where to get Metasploit, how to set it up, or running it safely. Also, there was no discussion on how to identify exploits that are likely to work against a given target machine. I got this course for free with a coupon code. While I feel like the course was worth my time, if I had paid money for it I would expect higher quality content.

I am a Metasploit Beginner. In some lectures it was not clear what was going on. Not sure what is covered about Metasploit and what was left out and why. Course is now finished and I have no idea what to do next??? Probably I am looking for another Metasploit course.
