The lectures do not go into significant detail, and the recording quality is poor. Videos often start with 15-40 seconds of "dead air" before the lecture video begins. This course is not as informative as I had hoped and does not delve deep enough into anything to be considered a course I could quote for experience on a resume.

Yes it is a good match for me, because it is a subject that I am very interested in. I found the course to be very informative and interesting. It reminded me of when I did Psychology III. This course was very concise and I learned more in depth about the Mental Disorders than I had experienced before. I also had an insight into how the ACES in infancy and childhood can cause anxiety and depression besides other things in teenagers and young adults. I would recommend the course for anyone caring for children either as nurses, teachers, therapists or childcare minders,

I like that there isn't time spent on chatting and talking about WHAT we are going to learn. Straight to the details (and there are many). There are multiple quizzes that help to apply what you've learned. Great class!

Some great information, however I am in Australia and some of the information was not relevant. I would suggest updating for Australians or at least advise before paying for the course, also as you mentioned that there will be updates coming and that was for 2016 and it is 2019. I did however enjoy the rest of the course and learnt I have 17 pages of notes from this course. Thank you

I am engaged in the practice of social work. This course was a most helpful refresher of the impact of ACEs, as well as an introduction into mental health disorders specific to children.

This course was better than the other course I took with this instructor. There was greater diversity in the visuals, charts, bullet points outlining and syncing slides. Much, much better. The content was great!
