Why take this course?

Hello students, in this course you will learn about what a Test Method Validation is.

In this course we have 10 different sections.

In Section 1 we have introduction where we will look at Agenda of course.

Next In section 2 we have measurement system analysis, In this section we will look at what a measurement system is and what a measurement system analysis is and we will look at some of the examples of measurement system analysis and what kind of errors that typically are present in a measurement system and we will also look at accuracy and precision errors and how calibration and test method validation play role in reducing these errors.

Next in In Section 3 we have test method validation introduction, In this section we will look at an introduction to test method validation and prerequisites to authoring a test method validation and also types of test method validation.

Next in section 4, we have visual inspection test methods, in the section we will look at prerequisites for a test method-to-be visual inspection test method and we will also look at what a visual inspection test method is and what a design analysis test method is and what a functional verification test method is and also finally what an industry recognized standard test method is

Next in section 5, we have conventional test methods, in this section we will look at theory of what a conventional test method is and some of the examples.

Next in section 6, we have in-house developed test methods in the section we will also look at theory of what an in-house developed test method is and will also look at some of the examples of this in-house develop test method.

Next in section 7 we have Test method validation, in this section review look at elements of test method validation and we will also look at a general test method validation template that can be used for any type of test method validation development.

Next in Section 8, we have attribute test method validation, in the section we will look at what an attribute test method validation with Theory and also we will look at an example with an attribute test method validation protocol and an attribute test method validation report.

Next in Section 9, we have variable test method validation, in the section we will look at what variable test method validation with Theory and also we will look at an example with a variable test method validation protocol and an attribute test method validation report.

Pros: This course content provides an introduction to TMV and the general TMV concepts and statistics. It is informative for entry-level engineers or students trying to gain an understanding of TMV practices in the MedTech industry. The use of general examples and surface-level use of Minitab was a nice touch to the course. Cons: I would have loved to see some protocol and report examples for Destructive vs Non-destructive variable TMV and use of Gage R&R (Nested vs Crossed) and when to use them. Also, some protocol examples with any deviations to TMV and how to deal with them.

Training need more examples of TMV variable analysis. Video strucks in between some time. Need to correct that issue

It is a good course for entry-level. Could you please provide the rationale for the sample size for both attribute and variable? Thank you

Thank you for designing the informative course. This is the only course I found on online platform regarding test method validation specific for medical device industry. The course is very informative and build from basics all the way upto defining protocol and executing it. Also, it was good to learn how the data analysis is actually performed on Minitab. However, I would have liked to have few additional videos on explanation of data analysis obtained from Minitab. It would have been really beneficial to interpret the results.

Pretty good course, covers the required areas. I'd like to see more detail on how to perform a destructive TMV, particularly on selection of parts when designing your nested Gage R&R study. Maybe some more quiz sections rather than just 1 single question for the whole course!

The material coverage was decent for an introductory course but superficial for someone actually trying to do test method validations. More examples and more complex examples would fill that gap.

Mi sono iscritta a questo corso per confermare delle conoscenze che avevo acquisito leggendo articoli e documenti. Il corso ha risposto a tutti i miei dubbi ed è stato estremamente esplicativo.

I was expecting a little more meat. This course was a very high level with not a lot of in depth explanation of the concepts. A decent course for the beginner but should go more indepth.

Lectures were generic. Handwriting in places where information could have been typed. The information was not bad though.

The course is not up to the industry standards. The course is boring as the instructor reads the slides, and most of it said as "we will discuss in the next section". Awful, not what I expected at all

Course content was what I needed. CC are NOT good but concepts and examples are good for people to understand concepts. Also, Minitab's examples are very good and basic

The course explain the Testing department work in flows. There are some spelling mistakes in some slides and the writeup with digital pen is sometimes not clear. The course is good for a basic testers how the testing works in healthcare industry. The report formats are also good.It would be great if we can have another course with little advanced level. Overall a good course for beginners.

The course is ok for entry level person, but for who works in this field and looks for an improvements in skills, is too poor of details. After all quite good.

The instructor lacks speech intonation. There needs to be a definite change in tone while emphasizing on certain important concepts. As a result, the course felt rushed at quite a few places. Also, there should have been some pop-up quizzes to keep the reader on his/her toes. Overall, a lot of room for improvement.
