Why take this course?

"This is the one and only course for Mathematica, that covers almost everything one would expect. Great job making this useful content!" - Siddhant Singh

This course is for everyone who wants to get better in Wolfram Mathematica!

No prior knowledge is required. We will start from the basics and climb the ladder up to advanced projects!

Wolfram Mathematica is an enormously powerful tool. In this language you can often solve difficult problems with only a few lines of code. However, this makes learning the language and especially the transition from conventional programming languages like C or python unique, as it uses a different approach to tackle programming. It is not difficult but can be overwhelming if you are on your own.

Mathematica was originally created to solve maths problems but was soon used in the natural sciences, as well. Today, it contains clever functions that can be adapted to all sorts of problems: We will solve programming tasks and will create beautiful, interactive images in our projects about statistics, physics, geography, chemistry, biology, music, political speeches, quantum computing, neural networks, machine learning, image manipulation, the stock market and more.

You are kindly invited to join this carefully prepared course that will teach you all you need to know about Mathematica. It includes a crash course, quizzes, exercises, background lectures and, of course, hands-on programming sessions in which we will solve real-life examples!

Why me?

My name is Börge Göbel and I am a postdoc working as a scientist in theoretical physics.
I have refined my advisor skills as a tutor of Bachelor, Master and PhD students in theoretical physics and have other successful courses here on Udemy.

Especially when I started my PhD I was impressed how easily you can solve demanding tasks with Mathematica. I have used the program for the results and images in many of my publications and have recommended Mathematica to all of my students.

I hope you are excited and I kindly welcome you to our course!

The course is very well constructed, it goes from the very basic to the most complicated step by step.

My version of mathematica (13) has a different user interface than the instructors, but it is fairly easy to work around the instructors notes.

I found this course and instructor to be excellent. The learning-by-example problems were very a effective way to leam Mathematica.

It is a good course that allows you to understand how powerful this program can be. The teacher knows how to transmit and knows the subject. It can be seen the great amount of work behind. It does not have my highest rating because in my opinion in the initial introduction it should include many more functions that are then used throughout the main course. It is true that the Wolfram library is very complete but sometimes it is very complex, so a broader summary in such introduction would add a lot of value to a course that has high quality.

Very nice start. Clear presentation. I have the latest student edition of Mathematica. Have a BS in Math, but need to advance skills, and this subject and course will help me.

I love the way the material is presented. I love that I can go back, watch in whatever order I want. I would have preferred that there would be on resource notebook for each videp.

Despite having completed a course of a similar nature on Udemy a year ago which I still think is a good one, I find this course to be exceptional, both in terms of the approach and the topics covered. In my experience, this course is designed for those who want to master Mathematica professionally within the shortest possible time. My hopes go a bit further, and I would really appreciate the author doing another Mathematica course on multivariable calculus.

Excellent course. Expect to learn a lot more about both Mathematica and, indirectly, mathematics! Love it!

I am a student! School courses always include the application of SPSS or SAS for statistical analysis! I hope this course can also provide information on using Mathematica for statistical analysis! For example, hypothesis testing, multivariate analysis, modeling, etc. Finally, I would like to ask whether Mathematica provides a function to transform data into a normal distribution!

I have been using Mathematica for university before, so I skipped the crash course and started with the lectures about statistics and machine learning. Great content so far! I have learned a lot already.
