The course is ok.... I found it very well explained. However, I feel that some parts can be expanded to include more insightful explanations. Also, the exam class is not included it would be a nice update..

This course is an excellent resource for anyone who wants to learn how to use LaTeX for academic writing and presentation. The instructor does a great job of explaining the fundamentals of LaTeX, from creating documents and formatting text to generating tables and graphs. The course also covers more advanced topics like creating bibliographies, customizing page layouts, and using templates. One thing I appreciated the most about the course was the instructor's clear and concise explanations, as well as the practical examples and exercises. The course is well-structured and easy to follow, even for someone who has no prior experience with LaTeX. I particularly enjoyed the hands-on approach of the course, which allowed me to practice my skills and apply what I learned to my research articles and presentations. I am a PhD student, so this course helped me a lot. Overall, I highly recommend this course to anyone who wants to improve their academic writing and presentation skills. It's a comprehensive and well-designed course that provides an excellent foundation for using LaTeX in a professional context.

The course gives a good starting point in LaTeX, especially for users of WYSIWYG programs (what you see is what you get) such as Word, Google Docs and others. If a deeper and more complete guide is sought (e.g. sty files), a consideration for a different course would be acceptable. But as I said, for beginners is ideal.

I am very happy that i bought this course. This course taught me basics in tikz (drawings), and plenty more commands and functions. Eirik and Stina really made an effort to record all that lessons. :)

I just started learning LaTeX with this course and it is phenomenal! For many years LaTeX seemed like some obscure, inaccessible magical language only spoken and used by a small circle of tech-savvy, computer programmers or scientists. I still believe this, however, I now feel that I too can join this special group of people who know LaTeX! The instructors clearly explain every step using useful examples and easy to understand terminology. They move at a great pace for learning a new language, really, and are clear and easy to understand. The material and presentation slides are easy to read and professional looking. I can't wait to continue to the nest lesson! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this course to anyone who has ever wanted to learn LaTeX!
