Lots of statements about Argo CD pros in the intro are not really backed by some example or something... I guess any competition product would claim the same ( enhance collaboration, enhance security, etc ). Explanations later on are good, though sometimes a bit quick.

I recommend this course, it is short but full of content, which makes it very efficient for learning. It makes sure you understand the theory behind all the concepts of the course and introduces you practical example about how to implement those concepts. Straight to the point.

super shot course.. also just use applications with code base change, so doesnt explain also what to do for the CI part, because the git repo can change due to a base code change so you first have to run the CI for creating the new image version and then call the CD

A very good overview of using ArgoCD. The example are very good and can be easily followed along. I wish there would have been a deeper dive into the advanced sections, e.g. canary deployments with sticky sessions, hints about database migrations for upgrades/rollbacks.

Generally good, would be better if the source is available as a git repo instead of the pdfs, where its sometimes hard to correctly copy the contents.

The hand-on is just fast and not explain enough in details with is being typed. It's difficult to follow and understand for newbie like me. I need to understand what it is and how it works, no need to see things done by yourself.
