Why take this course?

This video course covers the theory behind and hands-on application of concepts needed to maximize the throughput of your organization. The course introduces key introductory areas as well as using tools to leverage DevOps solutions for common problems. The course maintains a deeper insight of applying DevOps with a variety of tools such as Puppet, Vagrant, and Graphite.

You will learn how to automate and build configuration for their infrastructure servers and then would address advanced areas of automation, continuous deployment, log management, and monitoring. Create impressive changes to how you deliver software and services. This course will help all those using a DevOps environment, (or the single team) who are responsible for delivering both new features and stability. Such teams will work closely with developers ensuring a shared code base which is no longer just dev territory, but most importantly they are also responsible for continuous delivery, automated deploys and infrastructure and configuration management. With the help of this course, such teams no longer need to rely or wait for the other teams to solve a problem and fixes can be made quickly, all by learning the perfect way to succeed with DevOps.

As a way to start in knowing how DevOps works It's a pretty good course, but It doesn't really help you into 'mastering' DevOps per se.

did not learn much...should have given a overview of what all is involved in Devops and then drilled down. also the practical examples were more of setup rather than using it in devops.

Good session. .I feel this content needs more examples and technical explanations are beyond general developer's level. It would be grate if would add more windows, java and .net examples.

I was hoping to learn what DevOps actually means and this course does a very good job explaining the entire DevOps mentality. I am learning exactly what I had expected to learn.

The instructor explanations excellent, and overall the videos are great, I would like to see some practical reinforcement exercises in the course, even if they are just simple quizzes or review sheets.

It would be helpful if this contains also the slides material, so I can learn it offline without connecting to the internet.

Eu tinha a expectativa de estudar os conceitos DevOps e duas variações. Este curso é bastante técnico e há boa parte do conteúdo que não agrega muito para minha posição de gestor.

For some new to DevOps, this course does a good job with an understanding of the DevOps process. While I am not new, I am learning new things. Course would be a great way for someone to start the DevOps process. Covers some o the techniques and tools of the trade.

This guy clearly is very experienced and has really opened my eyes to a new way of thinking and working and has answered a lot of questions about the best way to run my tech business. Highly recommended

Very easy to comprehend the english accent, very good quality of examples and references. I have only one complaint and it's about the overtime used on each topic, they could be more straightforward. Sometimes it's seems he is beating around the bush on some topics, but nothing that can cause problems on the overall course.

This is extremely basic information. Based on the title "Mastering DevOps", I expected the material to be more advanced. Perhaps the level of information will pick up later in the course but based on the content so far, I would replace "Mastering" with a more appropriate word.

The quality of the course is good, however the name is misleading. It's not about "mastering devops". You cannot master such a wide field in a mere 6 hours. This is just an introduction to devops, albeit a very good one.
