Very to the point. So far, I'm already familiar with these concepts, but the way it's being taught makes it nice to review

Great course, perfect platform from which to advance further into sound engineering. Highly recommended.

I think the tutoring is average and have found content going deeper and more specific on sites like Groove3 and Produce Like a Pro etc
June 22, 2021
thanks man, very helpful. Sorry about the bad critic about the singer. I was just frustrated listening to the guy for hour. I appreciate your work!

The information was clear and to the point. I appreciate that. I've already started adding the steps and my masters, seeing greater results. Thanks again

Very in depth and great explanations and visual aids. Very easy to understand and put into layman's terms.

I think this is a ok course it’s not really a mastering course as such it’s more of showing you the plug-ins they use and how to use those plug-ins, it would be great if it was a real life mastering from start to finish course, however I did like the quick videos as there needs to be a good balance too long videos and it will get boring

It's a good match. I know most of the theory that has been said so far and I have Mastered 2 previous self released albums. The early stages of the course have been a good refresher and it is also teaching me how to use Logic Pro X effectively.

Its been great and its only the beginning. The details are very sharp and everything has been explained perfectly/easy.

This course was very interesting, I use Cubase 9.5 not Logic Pro X but the mastering techniques demonstrated in this course can still be applied in whatever DAW you are using. I learnt a lot of valuable information and I will now approach my mastering projects with a different and better perspective. Thanks guys, nice work! Andy.

People should know this is a decent course. However, they need to know quite a bit about mixing and logic to feel comfortable with the learning curve
March 16, 2018
i believe a little instruction on listening volume opposed to gain would be nice but maybe I'm being premature.

You all did a great job. Sure appreciated Paul Baily's interview. He has lived the analog to digital switch, and so did I. His experience is a journey of constant change. Guys like him have opened up the road on which we're all riding now, not realizing how lucky we are, and who we owe it to. Thanks. It was really interesting, and, NO, I didn't fall asleep. You could have kept going. Too bad Chris had to ketch the train. Thanks Tomas, Christopher and Paul. Will have questions for you.

I still have a few lessons to watch, but I can say that, although I already knew the majority of the things explained, it really goes in-depth, as well as giving quite a few super useful tricks and tips, which I wasn't aware of, and I thank the guys for that! One downside, however, which I think is the most important thing for the pourpose of this course, is that it DOES NOT takes you through the whole, step-by-step process of mastering a song from the very beginning to its end. It tells you what it is used and how every plugin works (and it does it thoroughly, though), but in every video, it switches from one part of the song to another, without showing a real workflow for the whole process. It wasn't a big deal for me, since I already kind of know something about mastering, but I think that for someone who really needs to start from the very beginning with the art of mastering, this could be frustrating and annoying. However, I'm really enjoying the course and the fact that there are only quite short videos, it makes it more handy. :)

Really liked the focus on only doing what is necessary, less is more, and understanding the science of what a good mastering engineer does. The casual interview/chat at the end of the course is outstanding...a mountain of useful info! Two thumbs way up!!
