Before purchasing this course I've seen a 1str review claiming that this course is not for VS code. Shortcuts and all other things taught here will not work in normal VS code version. I was curious to know why so many students have then rated it a 5str and I decided to take this course. Instructor clearly explained the difference between stable build of VS code and insider's edition ("Both are basically the same things"). He also told the reason for using Insider's build. Anyways, I've found that everything taught here is absolutely correct and applicable for both stable and Insider's edition. So, don't get mislead by reading those reviews. After going a little deep in this course, I feel like that this course is a gem especially for someone who's into web Development and programming (especially new college students who are looking for a code editor to run their programs). The Shortcuts, debugging, git and web development sections are amazing. Trust me you are going to learn a lot from this course and you'll start loving VS code. What I feel can be improved is the audio quality in some lectures and the accent. Apart from that this is a highly recommended course!

The course title says master visual studio code 2022.And then it goes on to teach about visual studio code insider edition 2022 which has a completely different interface from the visual studio code 2022.No explanation for that change. Most of the commands used in the first interface lesson in this course did not work in the regular visual studio code 2022 except for ctrl o. The instructor expects every one to ditch their already downloaded visual studio code 2022 and go download his so much coveted vs code insider edition when his course title says something completely different. I bought this to learn about the vs code 2022 as suggested by the title and not vs code 2o22 insider edition. Dnt buy this course if you not interested in learning about insider edition as a beginner and you already have the normal vs code installed. The instructor is insensitive to those category of students. But if you fall under the category that dont hv vscode installed already and would feel comfortable learning about insider edition as your editor then you can go ahead and buy this course. Those are the category of students giving him 5 star. As for me I will love to have my refund for a misleading title. And I hope he changes the tile to what it should be: master visual studio code insider edition 2022.

This course covers all the aspects i need to know about VS code. Although the accent is bit deep but still it's easily understandable. You can definitely go with this course if you want to use VS code for web development and programming.

The speaker has a very thick accent and is often very difficult to understand. The closed captions didn't accurately capture a lot of what he said. He also moves through the material/screen demos too quickly at times.
