Audio quality is a little low. There is a hum in the background. In the intro, the music is a bit loud. However, the content so far is good.

This is the worst course I ever seen. It looks like author is reading it by paper - no deep comments, no deep exlanations - just basics that can be found anywhere (((

When I started this course, I had basic TS understanding & upon completion, it made me a lot more confident in my TS understanding and readiness to develop a TypeScript app. I think my Java background made me understand lots of things a lot more faster, even though I had to repeat certain courses, just to ensure that I got it completely.

The concepts of Typescript are explained very well and examples are shown. At the end a complete project is created.

You know those courses where you just sit back, relax and then let a course fill you with well-being and thirst for more? This is NOT such a course. If you must learn TypeScript, this course will get the job done, but you will struggle. Whereas the author goes through some decent material, the actual presentation leaves a lot to be desired. It's as if he was in a hurry making it (several sloppy spelling mistakes) and as if there is a reason to keep the course as short as humanly possible. Not only does he talk very quickly (and from a script, it sounds like), he also seems to cut out every single pause from the video. It's non-stop talk. As one sentence is about to end he instantly cuts into the next. Add to this the fact that there is a hum on his microphone (50-60 Hz) which makes it annoying to listen to. Even more so as the hum constantly cuts in and out as he is cutting out all the pauses (hum -> no hum -> pop-> hum -> no hum -> pop). The fact that he is in such a hurry negatively impacts the video parts as well.. Some slides/captures he only shows for 2-3 seconds before jumping to the next. And in that process he has had time to highlight a bunch of parts on the screen, jumping all over the screen very quickly. You barely have time to blink and then you've missed it. The constant cutting also ruins the rhythm and flow of his own voice and sentences, turning them into a nonstop river of words. All this makes this course very difficult and exhausting to follow. Often I had to pause the video to collect my thoughts and just look at the code in front of me in order to understand what was going on. Don't get me wrong: the author describes everything he is doing, but he leaves barely a second for the student to think on what he just said. I don't understand why he edited it in such an extreme way. It's like he first recorded some good course material and then he ruined it in post production. Having seen the whole course now, I also feel some of the examples could have been better and he could have described certain important points more. I wish he had used a better editor as well which would have enforced tabulation in his examples. As it were, many examples would have different indentation from one line to the other, making them harder to read. All in all, the course was ok. The low rating is mainly due to the presentation. I won't be getting more courses from Skill Bakery unless they improve considerably.

Very good speed! It is easy to follow and understand. I worked on https://www.typescriptlang.org playground for all examples.

The course gives a good overview, but used are often samples free available by Microsoft and no deeper explaination, why.

Instructor moves fast through the lectures, and it feels as if he's reading a script, rather than actually teaching.

The only recommendation I have is that author should show the output JavaScripts. As a developer, I am curious what the output looks like. Sometimes, he misses to show the source of output scripts.

Needs to provide how-tos on build processes. IMHO Windows + WebMatrix is not a popular choice for web development. Mac/Linux + Sublime Text, Visual Studio Code or Atom might be more appropriate choice for an editor.

There were only lectures. There should be also tasks to code between lectures as you learn by doing, not by listening.

Everything was explained which was really helpful to understand what the code was doing. This is a very good course on TypeScript. If you are using VS 2013 simply "Open" up the "Shopping Cart" as webpage project and then view index.html to see the finished project.
