Very detailed explanation of the different methods. I am already familiar with some methods mentioned for problem solving but the course presents other ways which I think can be useful for my profession and worth revisiting this course in the future. Thank you for the effort bringing this together! :)
I didn't feel like the course was very cohesive and the examples were sometimes too specific to be very helpful to applying to different situations. I also thought the included activities in the beginning were too long for most people to commit to participating in which lost some of the value. Some of the audio/visuals seem to be cut off for a few lectures. I appreciate the included resources.
The course was informative and clear in outlining concepts that I need daily in the workplace. I will use most of the techniques to apply in business problems.
I appreciated all the matrix and analysis, taught in this course. Learnt a lot of techniques and how it applies to individuals.
I have watched a lot of training courses. Pertaining to this particular one, I did not like the use of the excel presentation. It doesn't help your presentation. If anything, it makes it confusing. If I may, suggest to stick with bullet points and the power point slides. In lieu of excel, use charts and tables in word.
this cause i have learnt that in every problem that i come across if i apply the skills then i will be able to solve it anytime and everywhere
to be a good solving problems and make sure you are solving the right problem ,assessment, diagnosis, planning ,implementation and evaluation and know how to be barriers to solving problems and creativity
i just started the course but i do understand just a little but i know i will get to understand it better as the time goes by..
it's an excellent course, but i sugest to use more example for the different method; i have studied a lot of these methods, but i would like to see using them for business problem.
The methods have been described but I wish there were more examples which I can try to solve it. In addition, I need not only the described terms but also meaningful and real life problems for these methods.
This course puts multiple theories and techniques together. It helps students to understand the topic in a systematic approach. However the knowledge was introduced simply, nothing in-depth. It's good for someone has some background and use the course for reviewing and refreshing.
As for the course in whole I expected it will be more concentrated on problem solving rather than decision making. Sure, decision making is also an interesting theme and I am satisfied with how you explain it. However my initial motivation was to improve my skills in problem identifying, collecting context and root cause analysis. To learn how to overcome situations when I stuck with a problem that is still not clear for me after some findings and exploration.
I am learning a lot and this will assist me in training a decision making and problem solving course in the new year.
Section 4 on Decision Making and Section 8 on Strategic Thinking were good. Not enough explanation provided around Impact Cost and Future Cost to easily understand those concepts.
the material view is blur most of the time, need to improve recording. Material content is very good.
