Master Ionic 3 with Ionic Native and Cordova Integrations

You were kind of rushing through the course, may be to catch a train!!!??? Not telling more about each components :(

The course title has nothing to do with the course content The course should've been "Mastering plugins installation"! NOT "Master Ionic 3 with Ionic Native and Cordova Integrations", Here is more than %30 of the course as of June 6 2018, 1. ionic plugin add $PLUGINNAME 2. npm install @ionic-native/$PLUGINNAME 3. import {} in app.module.ts So we could just put the installation in a loop to save time! The rest of each video is basically the first example you will find in the plugin README file!.. I kept trying a video after another hoping to find something different!.. nada!.. not a single idea! I usually try to avoid leaving a negative rating, but this course title makes it almost a scam!. + It doesn't matter how cheap the course is, but if you name your course "Master something", then have some valuable content. + Youtube is full of these videos, e.g. youtube.com/watch?v=E4S1yVBUPpk

So allright great I now know how to integrate the action sheet. but how do i share something on facebook or whatever. The video's are presented rather quick and sometimes don't show the whole story. Using Google for solving errors is part of the learning process for this course as well. But I already got the feeling that i'm using ionic 3 and angular the way it's meant to be. So very excited to see what's coming next.

well it is engaging on one hand and on the other hand it gives you the basic idea of how to put things to work ... i would like to see more in depth and real world applicable examples.

The instructor is too fast. I like Courses where instructors are not explaining every click but this one is too fast to follow. When writing code the instructor should wait about 2 seconds before scrolling the page up or down. Also Ionic and Cordova seems to be very unstable in different Android builds and with the Emulator. I have stopped the course quiet often to fix issues with that. As Example the first App " ActionSheet" wasn't showing the Action Sheet in the Emulator. After 4 Hours of Troubleshooting I decided to connect my Mobile directly and to run the command "ionic cordova run android --device --livereload" instead and it worked directly. This is not the fault of the instructor but makes it hard to follow. The content of the course is very good and the instructor seems to have a very good understanding of this. As a Tipp he could use something like Vysor to show the Phone / Emulator on the Screen. That would make it easier to follow the Demos.

Examples clear, not yet complete. e.g. Push notifications explained too simple. One would of course like to learn how to automate push notification in a social messaging app for example. And not just using OneSignal manually.

Was a good course. Not too easy to code along though. Would have been nice to be able to download a zip file after each lecture, with the code that was done. Very informative though. Learned a lot.

So far I've very much enjoyed taking this course. Paul provides thorough explanations and also makes things clear and easy to understand. The content as per is high quality and having a devoted topic per lecture really allows you to focus and gain a good understanding of it, without feeling thrown in at the deep end or rushed. There is a great amount of content to start with and with weekly updates, it will definitely be interesting to see what else is added in the coming weeks.
