This course was okay. It covered a wide range of topics the introvert might want to know about marketing. It is more of a 'feel good about being an introvert' and 'you can do it' than a 'here's how. It might might make a good introduction to marketing for people who tend toward introversion before getting involved in more meat-and-potatoes course.

She speaks so well. Gives me confidence that an introvert can be outspoken and interesting. Every video left me more and more pumped up after finishing. I am so excited that there's a place for introverts in this hyped-up world. And how easy it is to claim it.

I greatly enjoyed this course, and will review it several more times. I would have preferred the slides to be more animated (more than just typed words on the screen,, that hardly held my attention. The content was very good minus more visuals to complement the examples. Lastly, the writing exercises were beneficial even though I practice not using the phrase "I can't..." Overall I appreciated the course.

Do the terms "successful marketing" and "charisma" seem at odds with your perception of introverts? In "Marketing For Introverts", Marcia Yudkin emphatically addresses that idea from the outset: the world may underestimate the value introverts offer, but many of us consistently demonstrate highly marketable capabilities including dynamic public speaking and strong leadership. An introvert's "no wallflower or social misfit". Our defining characteristics, exuding from deep authenticity, are indispensable gifts to the society. In this course, Marcia proves that introverts have natural gifts and abilities useful for effective networking and social media - activities popularly considered more suited to extroverts. You'll benefit from the brief exercises Marcia provides throughout the course. During the first section, in experimenting with the "Claim Your Strengths" exercise, I enjoyed replacing negative perceptions with empowering, liberating statements. This exercise will open your eyes to strengths you can use to enjoy marketing your way. Section 2: "Marketing Tactics That Suit Introverts", is a suite of 11 easily digested teachings that, together, crush excuses that threaten to hinder us from finding our successful marketing approach. Several marketing methods are covered, each with an effective application for the introvert. You will find immediately actionable tactics to apply to your marketing efforts. I found my greatest inspiration in Section 4, Lecture 18 on "Role Models: Well-known Introverts". Here Marcia describes the power that emanates from introverts and how we carve new paths for others to follow. This teaching will build your confidence - Marcia's research and examples reassure the student that introverts lead well; that we too can attract our target market without pretending to be extroverted and certainly without being in discord with our personalities. Take this course. "Marketing For Introverts" is practical and inspiring. Marcia, a declared introvert and marketing thought-leader, is living proof that her methods work. Her delivery, teaching tools, and experiences will guide you into marketing effectively and authentically, as only you can.

Marcia provides practical tips for introverts to market themselves in their own style, without feeling pressured to fitting in the extroverted expectations and not succeeding. Her ideas help us to master self-promotion within our comfort zones. She also helps us to understand how to work with extroverts, and for extroverts who might take this course, how for them to work effectively with us.

If you are an introvert interested in marketing, this course will not only help you become better but will also show you why being an introvert is an advantage. And then Marcia goes on to explain the best methods for introverts to focus their energy. Even if you aren't an introvert, I strongly suggest taking this course because you'll understand better how to help your introvert team members have a healthier, happier and more productive work environment.

Yup, this course shows you how. AND shows you how to accept and be comfortable with being an introvert. It covers not only how to market and stay true to yourself but also how to deal with different types of clients without tearing your hair out. An excellent course and one to recommend!

She really understands what it is like to be an introvert, even when your friends think of you as an extrovert. Her communication is clear and made me think of ways I can be truer to myself whilst marketing my services.

I have toyed with the idea of creating and marketing a product for some time lately. In fact, several years back I did the same thing. Unfortunately, I let myself worry about the fact I'd have to put myself out there for everyone to see and never followed through. How can you sell yourself as an expert on something when you are hiding behind a fake screen name or simply not willing to go public? The other day I ran across Marcias course and listened to it from start to finish and am glad I did. She pretty much laid out the reasons I really don't have to worry about this. She tells you many ways you can market or handle your business without always being in the public life, so to speak. While I fully intend to follow through on my product creation and bringing it to the public, thanks to Marcias advice I can now do so without the constant nagging in the back of my head worrying about failing for not being an outgoing people person. Thank you Marcia

If you are introverted and are struggling to get going in marketing then this course will help you. You learn ways to go about things that suit how you are as a person. You will probably also learn a bit about yourself in the process. If you are an extrovert and can't understand why introverts don't always find it easy to deal with you then this course could help you learn.
