Straight forward presentation! Moves it a good pace, the screen shots for doing the short cuts is helpful.

I've used logic for about a year and a half. I'm a big fan of key command short cuts. I thought this course would be more of a review for me, but just in 2 videos I've already learned a few I havent been using. Maaad respect. As the course went on, it began to feel a lot like review. I learned a little more, but not a ton. If I took this course a year ago, it would've been SUPER helpful. Thanks again!

Great course. Learning a bunch. However, I gave it fours stars based on the hi hat tracks. I thought using the brush tool at different resolutions would have been much more efficient and less clunky when creating hi hat rolls and switching up the rhythms. Great course though really. Thank you!

might be my fault, but i feel like this is beginner stuff, not intermediate like the course suggested, but I'm only 2 videos down and it asked me to leave a rating

this is supposed to be for intermediate to advanced students, so far its all basic except for maybe 2-3 key cmds. I am hoping the rest of the course will be more advanced.

really basic techniques, not even professional level. some of these are longer ways of doing things not shortcuts.

Didn't realize it was more a beat making beginners course, I want to learn how to mix wav files from my band. enjoyed the tips, and the pdf of keyboard shortcuts, Videos sometimes fade before he stops talking, not sure if on purpose or not. In one video there was no video, only audio for 20 seconds. (in section 3) All in all not bad, but not what I was expecting.

The instructor explains calmly and very clearly. Something that many other Logic Courses should follow.

My rating comes from the perspective of someone who's self-taught many shortcuts because I also agree that knowing them saves time. The professor does a good job in laying down some key ones to know, but because I already knew them, I'm just ready for the next lesson. If I didn't already know these though, I could've found this insightful. Admittedly, there were a few that he brought up that I didn't know/were good refreshers. After being halfway, I was left thinking: "I want to learn how to mix/master the best so that it sounds of professional quality." I also would be curious to know: • What sites does he use/has he used to download his additional sound kits? • Which kits are recommended? • What are the "key" sounds used in "mainstream" hip-hop music? By the end of the class, I definitely feel like I learned some cool tools that I can apply to create my own unique sound. However, I still would like to know how to make a "radio-quality" edit as opposed to just arranging sounds together.

Hi, I just completed your course Tips and Tricks. Thanks a lot for sharing that information, I have recently tried getting back into logic so this course has been very helpful. The lessons are pretty condensed which is not a bad thing at all. Just some practice on my part is required now. I may look at purchasing one of your other courses. I looked at the demos that you did in the licensing course. I really have to thank you because not a lot of people are willing to share that information, as to what are the steps involved in approaching the industry from the proper angle. I live in the Caribbean and I see so many issues that arise from the lack of knowledge of licensing etc, I know the process may be different in the region but the knowledge you have shared is key. Regards, Zerious.
