valuable info explained well and thoroughly. For the volume of lectures, there isn't a ton of substance; info could have been more direct and to the point; lots of fiddling with knobs instead of just explaining and giving an example. I think they could have dived a bit deeper into vocal mixing. You could get the same info and more with free youtube lectures; but it's nice to access it all here in a streamlined fashion

I’m only on compression so far but tbh it doesn’t explain much. For example the EQ section shows the process of the instructor doing boosts and cuts but doesn’t actually explain what it does for the mix.

This is a decent course. Some terms are assumed as known. I really disliked the song that was used to demo all the plug ins because it is so monotone and boring. The changes were hardly register-able at times on my device. I would have like vocals with more contrast so the plug is could be more obvious. It was hard to show off what they could really do. But it was a good introduction.

I'm about half-way through this course and... wow! I was a bit reluctant to purchase it as I've always been in the mindset of "why pay when I can get the same content for free on YouTube". Boy, was I wrong! After years of trying to mix my own vocals and constantly getting frustrated when I'm hitting the same walls and things just don't sound right, and the tips I'm getting from YouTube just aren't helping, I feel like I have learned a million times more in just a couple of hours with this course! Not only has it taught me where I have been going wrong with mixing, but also where I have been going right which is great for my self-esteem as I do often get stressed and upset when my mix sounds bad and in turn I doubt my vocal as well as my mixing abilities, but to see that I have actually been intuitively doing a lot of things right which have been overshadowed by the things I've been doing wrong.. that has been invaluable and very reassuring! The lads delivering the course are very thorough, they leave no stone unturned - so much so that I surprisingly have no questions at the end of each lecture which is very unlike me! Sorry for the long review, just had to share in hopes that anybody who, like me, was doubting the value of this course will stop doubting and just do it!

The more you re-watch the videos the more you learn. Amazing amazing explanation of the plug-ins and arrangement of the track. Even if you are not a logic pro user the basics remain the same.

I specifically bought this course because it was titled "Mixing Vocals." I expected it to be about mixing vocals and nothing else, but to find out it had very little to do with mixing vocals. I feel like I was deceived with the title. I would not have purchased this course had I known. Extremely disappointed.

I would recommend getting this course if you are beginner. A few of the lectures need to be updated. I personally felt like the lectures on compression were rushed although they compensate for this by quickly responding to any questions you have. Good course in general.

Very informative, no nonsense, straight forward instruction! Personally I learn best when adjusting to a lower audio speed with most presenters.
