This a a good introductory course for laymen and laywomen with no prior knowledge on the topic. The explanation are fairly easy to grasp even for your average high-school graduate. If you have undergrade education, though, you might wish to consider more advanced courses on the same topic such as 'Critical Thinker Academy: Learn to Think Like a Philosopher' by Dr. Kevin deLaplante or 'Mastering Logical Fallacies' by Dr. Bo Bennett.

It's a fine beginner's course. If you want some basic knowledge about biases and how to think, communicate, and learn, I would recommend it. Short and concise. It delivers exactly what it promises. If you are somewhat versed in philosophy, I would look for something a bit more in-depth. However, the presentation was clean, and the language was good.

The video for lecture #8 (case studies can be misleading) is the same as lecture #9 (blind obedience to authority). Although I think the topic of case studies is discussed on a later video (Statistics v case studies) I don’t know if it (#8) was meant to touch on other details. Otherwise I do enjoy the conversational approach of the explanations and makes it really digestible for someone who is not a philosophy student necessarily and gives a very practical understanding of the concepts. Overall it’s a great course and I think it achieves what it was meant to teach. Thanks for putting this lesson out.

The course is not exactly about Epistemology which I thought it was but very well presented never the less. Thank you.

I meant to major in philosophy at one point, so this topic isn't entirely new to me. Very good content!

Nice talks. Clear, fluent and consistent. However, I found it a little bit too casual. I suggest include more guidance and formal references by the end of each section, e.g., Prof. Sapolsky or "Meditations" by Descartes.

I took this course at a time when I was question my own beliefs and pre-conceived notions. This course provides a framework to challenge my belief and how to avoid some well known fallacies and how to identify irrelevant argument.
