Zeer boeiend, vooral omdat Rachel vanuit haar eigen ervaring verteld. Zij geeft vele handig tips en adviezen waar je zelf niet gelijk aan denkt. Fijn dat iemand met zoveel ervaring dit wil delen. Het helpt je echt! Verder is haar manier van presenteren erg prettig om naar te luisteren. Haar eigen enthousiasme werkt aanstekelijk. Echt een aanrader!

Fantastic course, especially because Rachel speaks from experience and has a lot of great tips. I can make a very detailed checklist now to get me started. It has also made me more inquisitive about the differences in culture that will undoubtedly come my way when going abroad and even looking forward to those differences. Bring it on!! Thanks Rachel

This course is very well organized and follows a logical order. I took notes throughout every section. The main ideas are emphasized and include detailed examples. Such as - everyone knows you need to prepare, but remembering all the details involved, and making sure you get all your documents together in paper and digital format, is something I wasn't thinking about. Knowing what to do the first days and weeks in a new place is also very helpful. It can be confusing and overwhelming in a new culture, and having a list to follow reduces the stress. Rachel has substantial experience and she provides a comprehensive course for the beginning and experienced expat alike. I am an experienced expat and traveller and I learned many useful details in this course that I will use the next time I go abroad. Rachel is also funny and engaging. Her presentation is clear and easy to understand. I would recommend it to anyone thinking of going abroad. Maybe this course will take some of the mystery out of it and encourage you to go! Also, get he book for the checklist - it covers everything.

What a great course! I really enjoyed going through it. Rachel speaks with so much energy that you really become excited to move abroad. My enthusiasm already by the first lecture. The course contains a lot of interesting and practical information which allow you to make your plan step by step. Also many things I did not even thought about myself yet. If you still hesitate about some subjects, then this course will give you that extra information, inspiration and motivation to finish your plan and take the step. I definitely recommend this course for people who have the intention to move abroad but even people who already live abroad. A complete course with all you need to know about a good and successful stay somewhere outside of your home country. What I also recommend is the TEDx talk she has done about ‘Taking the next step’ which you can find in the Bonus section.

I really liked this course!! I didn't think I would would find it as helpful as I did, but here were so many 'oh yes!' moments; this makes it really relatable, relevant and helpful. I took away a lot of top tips and have my myself a to do list. I loved the 'frustration phase' part because I have definitely experienced many of those feelings, but this lecture gave me much needed reassurance. I feel positive, motivated and confident going forward. Rachel is really engaging and I feel like she just 'gets it'; for me, that's what kept me interested in completing this course. I highly recommend this for anyone moving abroad, thinking about it, or like me has just landed on the ground in an alien place!

I love being walked through the process step by step of the moving abroad process and how to adapt to a new environment. Rachel covers everything from where to move to, how to get set up with a new home (and what to do with your old one), and how to make new friends and learn the local language. I wish I had had a course like this when I first started living abroad. Highly recommended!
