Using the powerful wirecast software from telestream i'll be showing you the basics of getting your camere and audio inputs working with the blab website. You should be able to take a lot of this knowledge and transfer it to other environments as well when it comes to live video streaming.

most materials are done in video. i love video.

This is my very first Udemy course, and it is the instructors very first Udemy course! Awesome. This instructor is knowledgeable, extremely personable, and presented interesting video footage in addition to tips and techniques regarding his topic. It would be a 5 star rating-but no fault of his own, Blab is out of the internet live-streaming business so the course hasn't been updated since then and as a result has a few dead links/dead info. However, having said that, the course is still useful to get an over-all grasp of what is possible with wirecast and live streaming. Since Wirecast isn't free (although the trial is) to use, its great to see what can be done. I think it is so interesting how this was filmed, the backgrounds, simple green screen that made a HUGE difference from his "own background" inside a small pull-behind RV to big sets. Neat! Thank you for pulling together this course!

This little course is a gem! It covers lots of practical considerations surrounding using the Wirecast software and using blabs creatively. Phil is clearly knowledgeable, his delivery is great and production is good too.

If you put in all the videos on high speed and scroll through the lessons you'll find some bits that are about Wirecast and Blab, but its just him poking around in wirecast-- look you can do this, look you can do that-- not explaining how to do anything. So theres a little bit on wirecast and blab, not much but it was free. I would love to pay for a course that really taught from a "how to" step by step approach. The instructor is very likable and super-sincere and I was rooting for him the whole time, but it fell short.

I can't say enough about this course. Not only is Phil a dynamic, attention keeping- teacher (for ADD students like me), but I left this course feeling, enabled, equipped and INSPIRED.
