The content on MySQL replication is quite outdated, nobody is using MySQL 5.5 anymore - please consider updating the content to show setting up replication under MySQL 8 (ideally with an example showing the use of GTID's). Quite a few defaults have changed in MySQL 8 (such as binary logging being on by default), certain sql console commands have also changed etc, so it would be good to update this content as people are FAR more likely to encounter MySQL 8 in the real world these days. Thanks!

Little bit fast so I play on .75 but I think this is tremendous and have plans to buy more than the courses I already own by Jason!

I am more of a beginner Linux user. So tutorials & projects came to me for free. I thought it was more of tips and tricks and maybe a cool project I could work on. I do not have any servers to mess around with but I am sure that if I needed it, it would have been an amazing class. It has great content and the instructor was easy to follow.

This was billed as Free complete Linux course but is not the case. Not sure what to call this course aside from Click Bait?

Amazing demo, although maybe more explanation would have been great for some sql commands there. on the master-slave replication, aside that it was pretty clear.

Excellent short course to intro Jason's teaching style. Would have liked a couple of minutes of more intro into Vagrant and explaining where to put the backend server info in the Nginx file. All in all, great short course.

Thank you for showing us how and make the class interesting. But can elaborate more on SSL what is the purpose of it. So saying we get the SSL certs from ABC.. is that mean every one in the world recognized who is ABC is? Other than ABC, we can also get SSL from but had to pay for it is go.daddy.com or google. Sorry just something if we were to use in work. Once again the class is very well plan and especially for checking what you install and did to make sure all configuration are running properly. Thank you very much.

Thought it was very well done, clear and detailed. The instructor took the time to even highlight additional commands that could work as he worked through them.
