Great course! Simple explanations, straight forward and easy to follow. The labs are great and gives immediate feedback. It makes learning rewarding. I'm awaiting the new version of this course though as Linux Foundation recently changed their syllabus and there a few new items needed and some that can be removed. For now I'm using the syllabus requirements to guide me on what I can exclude and I'm doing everything else.

I just passed the LFCS on my second attempt. And to be honest, it wasn't easy. I would say the course (at the time of my review) prepared me for roughly 50-60% (most). Unfortunately, the course misses some very important fields, which is why i failed the first time with 55% only. Afterwards I researched the remaining questions, that I could remember to prepare myself for the retake. Gladly, I passed, but I can clearly relate to the reviews of other students!

This course looks great but nowhere nearer to clearing the LFCS exam. The course curriculum changed recently (May 11th, 2023) and after this change, course content needs to be updated. I wasn't able to clear the exam after taking this course. Hope the author updates this asap to meet new exam requirements. It should have been done sooner as Linux Foundation announced the changes quite a while ago.

This course needs update since Linux Foundation updated curriculum for their LFCS certification on 11. May 2023. Although the course still provides solid introduction to linux, you can't rely on it and accompanying labs to prepare you for the exam. I've finished all of the mocks above 90% and still got only 37% on the exam .

The course has great content and the lecture is very knowledgeable BUT note that the materials in this course are obsolete if you're planning on taking LFCS exam then be prepared to fail! just so you know the LFCS exam has been updated as of 12:01am UTC on May 11, 2023. All exams taken going forward will be based on the domains and competencies below (including retakes).

Labs are excellent. Overall the course has all the key concepts you need to master Linux. The explanations are clear and show and demo how to navigate the CLI. Course is not yet updated for the latest exam content.

The explanations are great. I just found a little bit tricky to follow the PDF provided. I think it would be great if it had more details about the commands. Apart from that, fully satisfied.

I cleared the certification today (09-05-2023) with 91 %. I used this course as my resource in order to clear the LFCS certification. Eventhough the course teaches everything based on CentOS platform, I gave the exam in ubuntu as I am more comforatble with that. I converted everything the trainer teaches on CentOS to ubuntu. Now I am familiar with both distros. I practiced the mock tests and Labs 3 times. Along with this course I set up my own VM in an AWS console to practice, and clarified some of my queries from askubuntu.com forum. The real exam is very similiar to the mock tests in this course. The LFCS exam syllabus will change from 11th May. Hope this course will also update to align with the changing objectives of the exam.
