The content is very bad. It is a story telling or text reading. You won't learn more than 1% additional to your beginner level in Linux

It is more likely if the instructor is telling a story. For beginners, it should be a bit explanatory.

Aside from the talking points, there is no Visual aspect to the course up to this point. Hard to follow along.

Set aside the fact that your tutor is Spanish and has an accent which sometimes can be difficult to understand everything is explained very well in detail. I am enjoying this course very much. I now feel much more at home at the command line but it is very basic. There is some good free information on many Linux forums. Try https://unix.stackexchange.com or try https://www.linux.com/

I got a later version of Ubuntu from a magazine, so some of the commands didn't work and it was the same for Virtualbox. It went very well otherwise...

Yes it was a good course. Sometimes the presenter would provide information verbally that should have been displayed on the slides.

This was very helpful for me as a freshman cs student. Now I can confidently work in Linux. A big thank you to the instructor.

The spoken English is not good. Commands is pronounce Commans, missing the stressed 'd'. this makes it sound completely wrong to an English speaker. This is just 1 example. Also, the course is not up to date. Setting up the latest version of Virtualbox and the latest version of Ubuntu are now different and have different content. I worked it out but I've been in IT for 45 years.

What was here was good but I get the impression it is not finished. He almost stopped in the middle of a sentence. Author is quite good I just hope he continues to add content.

This course is quite friendly for the new learner, but the subtitles need to improve as I sometime can't hear clearly.

Most of lesson are so common which can find on the basic linux book. Prefer the exercises for each lesson to practice by students

Far too technical as a beginners course. Seems more aimed at system adminsitrators rather than every day users. Still no clearer if this is a better system to use than Windows. No idea how the interface works or what the functionallity is like!

Simple and easy to understand. I have been using linux for a while professionally and I am getting more serious about it. This was a good course to brush up on somethings and I learned a couple of things I didn't know before. 4 Stars as there are no labs.
