Level 3 Intelligence Analyst Certification

Information was very heavy in this final course. Definitely more than the 2 hours total listed (took me over 5). I would recommend, because there are so many activities (not only in this course but in course 1 & 2 as well, but especially in this course) incorporating rise presentations where they are interactives, such as drag and drop activities to build the trees and matrixes. This can also break up the videos in between so that you do not need to pause. Also, I highly recommend including pre set up excel sheets as a downloadable options to help increase interactivity and the likelihood of following along.

Good course for predictive analysis, but I've seen intelligence analysts work perfectly fine without opening a single Excel or math formula. I feel like this is teetering near actuarial science, which isn't a bad thing but also perhaps not fully in line with what someone expects from an intelligence analysis course. I would encourage anyone looking to enhance their critical thinking or predictive analysis to take this course with the caveat that black swan events exist outside of a data matrix.

As always, these certificates are helpful to learn the world of the Intelligence Analysis. Job well done instructor.

I just finished all three levels for the Intelligence Analyst series, and level 3 was indeed challenging and very informative. I do need more practice with the formulas, but the course was enough to provide a basic understanding of them.

Didn't really get a good answer to the Safecracker Exercise. We were given the answer, but not an explanation as to why/how the answer was arrived at.

Yes. This teacher is an excellent teacher and I believe he should produce more classes on the subject.

There was a lot of great information in this course. My main objections were how some lessons were constructed and how they were taught especially in the Bayes section. An extensive critique would take too long in this forum. Also, the 100% required for passing the 25 question practice test is absurd. The more you take the test, the sloppier you get. While it's certainly fair to require retests, it is not reasonable to make students test over and over once they've achieved a 90% or higher. This experience alone drove my overall course rating.

The course has been very insightful and helped me understand and sketch an idea of the skillsets that are crucial in the field of intelligence analysis. The mathematical section of Probability & Statistics given in the third part of the course made it even better as , although knowing the concepts of the subjcets, it helped me learn methods to apply them to life-like scenarios.

The course definitely helps me with analyzing various events. I probably should have taken Part Three right after Part Two, but circumstances did not permit me to do so. Now I have to try and remember all the details of the first two parts so I can succeed at this one, since you no longer allow students to replay courses once completed. I never come up with the ratings you do, but it seems as long as the weight remains consistent with the given parameters, I wind up ranking things the same way. So, I think I am on track.

As one who is fully intrigued by philosophical and intellectual sciences, this series (Level 1, 2, 3,) is an excellent primer for further reading and studying for application in my career. Although some foundational knowledge of statistics and probability computations is missing from my background, you do a great job creating the spark to keep the learning momentum. Excellent stuff.

stop with the bouncing text! it serves no purpose except a distraction! also, please normalize the volume. this is really easy to do but if you turn up the volume to hear the speaking - which is great for the most part by the way - then you get deafened when he says "please pause here" then blasts music in your ears. normalizing the volume would also help the speaker from being sometimes loud and near the microphone, and sometimes far away. this would make a huge difference in ease of listening to the slides.

This course is fantastic, course content is reiterated from the previous 2 courses to apply the basics, well laid out and good for different styles of learning

Tested on really obscure statements that don't show understanding of analysis, couldn't get the assignments to show complete, a question was missing the word NOT in the final exam.
