For the time I've spared, I've received a good amount of knowledge as well as an opportunity to refresh some of my previous knowledge on VBA and Excel. Many Thanks.

Great course overall. It is sometimes hard to understand correlation between different coding concepts

the files do not download and every one else in the comment section made the same remark. as result without file to practice, there is no learning. I'll still try to see the videos to get some knowledge and learn. hey, after all its paid for.

- Gute Auswahl des Grundlagewissens - Anschauliche Beispiele - Didaktisch gut konzipiert - Klare, simple Erklärungen - Man wird nicht vom Thema "erschlagen"

Very methodical training, builds knowledge nicely, Guy has a very pleasant voice and is quite easy to understand.

I found the examples used to teach VBA weren't applicable to how I use Excel, so therefor not useful. There was a 2 hour section on creating user forms, which I can't imagine ever needing to create.

Guy is clear and precise plus giving very useful information. He builds gradually on previous learning. The pace was excellent for me even though I've had decades of programming experience. He also has a very gentle way of repeating previous key items to reinforce and aid in remembering. I found his approach really engaging and easy to listen to and understand. I always like to hear someone speak British -- not just the accent, but the turns of phrase as well so that was a boon. I needed to skip ahead to get some specific information for my project and because of his style I was able to do this and pick up very quickly the specific information I needed. I'll go back over the sections I skipped over shortly.

The course is useful, informative, well explained and reasonably paced for a relative beginner. There is a lot of information to be processed and I regret that I did not start taking notes earlier as when I started to code I would remember that a given topic was covered but would have to poke around quite a bit to find it again.

Pace is very good. A huge plus that Guy reviews what he has said towards the end of the section. Terminology is explained in simple terms which makes it easy to understand.

The course is great to learn the basics of VBA coding. However, I was expecting a little more details and information about the objects and proprieties that exists in VBA. I.e. more applications methods, proprieties and functions that basic users may not know but experienced users know and use.

The instructor clearly knows his stuff. But this course is a clear example that 'any idiot' can't simply come and study brain surgery on Udemy. It appears my VBA coding is not up to this level. There is too much glossed over. The tutorials don't match up and are difficult to follow... it feels like hours and hours of jargon is not explained. Major bits of info that would clearly stuff up a beginner, are glossed over. "We don't need this default created by opening a Worksheet procedure, so just erase that".... huh? why?.. what happens if I don't? How would I even know to erase that? I've probably watched about 60% of the tutorials and don't feel any more confident in doing 'anything' within Excel. I have created code from other tutorials but I'm having problems.... my 'now' code enters today's date everytime I open the worksheet... but do you think I can fix that? Not even after watching hours of these lectures. It is well presented, and I'm sure it's just ME who clearly doesn't understand enough of the fundamentals to get something out of this course. Perhaps if I study more and come back to this, it might be worth it? But I did assume I would learn fundamentals here too... but this is like watching a lecture on brain surgery, and the doctor starts naming Latin, and you're just like.... "WTF?".... "Dim, string as integer, End Sub..." this course is a "nice try, but no cigar" for me... yet anyway... You may have a whole different experience. I can see there are 'great' things in this course. But it's done very little for me so far. I will try to get through it all and perhaps reassess.... I like the instructor's general presentation. I'm sorry to be a negative but I have to be honest. I have no more confidence than when I started. The questions I've posted have drawn little or no response. I don't think this course is being monitored any longer.

The trainer seems to be very knowledgeable and explains very well, providing not only definitions, but also example for a better understanding.

This course is a very nice introduction for Excel VBA beginner, it shows you almost every fundamental knowledge you need to know before you jump into VBA coding. After completing this course, I know where and how I can go further, practice and improve my VBA skills. I give this course 4.5 star because I found that the instructor is not very responsive to the question asked. Hopefully this can get improved. Great class though.
