If you are a Mac user trying to learn Microsoft Word, take this course! This course has helped me fill the gaps I had with word and really helped me navigate word better. Lessons are easy to follow and each lesson ends with a quick and short review of what you just learned. I took notes to use as reference in the future. Excellent course!

The course is excellent and provided what I expected. I would be more than happy if they have included a small section on track changes and markup options. Thank you.

For the past week, I haven't been able to access my course from the udemy website. Amazingly today I was able to get to my course. I hope to add this site to my "favorites", but haven't tried that yet. Another problem I've had is getting closed captions. I had them for my first session, didn't have them for my second session, learned how to activate them from my son, but when I clicked on closed captions and asked for 100% letter size, the captions failed to appear. I think the course will be very helpful once the mechanics of getting it understandable are resolved.

I learned a TON of good stuff here with Guy's teachings. I've been "using" Word for years (AKA "winging it") so it was high time to take advantage of Word's fantastic features... and thru Guy, I now know how to properly and professionally use Word. I very much recommend Guy's course to those who need to have all the basics covered, like I did.

The instructor speaks too quickly! A beginner needs more time to apply the instructions and follow along. This course requires a 2016 version of Word for Mac. Older versions make it too difficult to follow along and complete some of the exercises that are included.

I am a long-time MS Word user and have used Word in my daily work for many years. I had mostly used the Windows version at work, but when I bought my MacBook Pro in 2013, I subscribed to Office for the Mac. The Windows and Mac versions of Word are similar, but I wanted to get some formal training in the Mac version. Guy Vaccaro's course was exactly what I needed. Guy provided in-depth coverage of many features, and I had many ah-hah moments. I am eager to put my new knowledge to use. I highly recommend this class. Bravo, and thank you, Guy!

Love the course! However, he goes through the material pretty quickly so I'm finding the need to scroll back to listen again and again. On a more positive note, it's great that we can do that. I would also suggest changing the placement of the lesson titles, which (as they are now) often cover up key areas on the screen making them difficult to see. The lesson titles should go on the bottom right or left.

The explanations are done at a level that can be easily understood. Also, very good examples. I like the summary after each lesson.

This is a lecture style course, The great thing is he will repeat quickly each step if you zone off and wonder how he got to the final step.

Very good course. Absorbed a great deal. I found it best to watch each section one at a time to gain an overview , then replay the same section (while taking notes and completing the worksheets) before moving onto the next section. Ideally, would have also liked to look at 'tracking', adding comments to documents, and creating a table of contents, but these are mentioned at the end as future explorations.

I am half way through the course and find it is progressing at a pace that suits my learning level. I find the practice lessons to be very helpful by letting me get the feel on how things work. I have now finished the course and was very happy with it. I am now much more at ease with working with Word on my Mac.

Author is speaking too fast. Feels like info overload at this point Has not even shown how to set ribbon settings and preferences. Better tutorials on You Tube
