This course was exactly what I expected from browsing the course materials. It is very much an Excel Basics course and if you've used Excel for any duration of time you've probably learned most of what you might here. If you are new to Excel or if you find yourself struggling with basics (formatting, using formulas, printing, and etc.) this could definitely be beneficial.

I think this is a good match for me as I have some experience with Excel and so I am able to keep up. I like the casual, organized and logical presentation.

He's very knowledgeable and explains things clearly. Though he talks a bit fast, it is easy to grasp the concepts and learn the material.

I need this step by step instruction, and this course is doing just that. It's not jumping over anything, so you get a real good feel of how to use Excel without guessing what comes next.

I found the course excellent for assisting me to bring Excel across to a Mac. (as a new Mac user) It covered all basic areas in an easy to follow way. Enjoyed it.

I was so happy to find a course that could help me use my Excel for business. I came into the course with very little experience and I now feel that I can manage these tasks that were explained. I can come back and check his explanations as needed.

it's clear and effective. Very organized and Guy goes into detail quite well when explaining things. Not a bad intro course just wish there were more examples and maybe some practice or assignments that were available

Very clear explanations so far. It is all very clear at the time but unfortunately I am inclined to forget some of it a day or two later. I need to take time to practice. I am grateful it is possible to listen to some lessons over again.

didnt feel like it was very engaging nor thorough about all the functions. He breezes through everything way to fast. With hindsight I wouldnt have wasted my time or money on this.

I have had the pleasure of doing other courses that Guy has taught. However, in the past they have been Windows based, but I recently purchased a Mac, and wish to familiarise myself with the Excel program. I am quite proficient using the Windows version but am aware that there are some differences with the program on the Mac. Guy is explaining the features and keyboard functions at a pace that allows me to easily follow. While it is relatively easy now, I expect that it will become a bit more complex later, but the foundations are being laid that will enable me to meet the challenge. I have now completed the course and it has set good foundation for me in using Excel on the MAC. I would certainly recommend the course.
