For maximum awesomeness this course will reference a number of third party products, a couple of books, etc. I make NO money in these references. During this course, we will also reference the use of FM Starting Point to use as a free software to anchor the development of your internal systems. You will be required to input your personal information to get this free software.

There was a lot of material provided, which I think alone covers the purchase price! I don't believe that there were any quizzes or assignments to test your knowledge, and I think I would prefer if there some parts that were optional to complete the course (or split up the content into 2 courses, with less videos but more assignments). A very useful resource that I am expecting to review in the future as well!

This course wasn't a good match for me, no. It is advertised as being for beginner, intermediate or advanced FileMaker users. I don't think there's enough for beginners. Also, there's no course plan that I could ascertain. Just a series of disjointed lectures which varied tremendously in quality.

This course has been incredibly helpful in teaching me the Ins and Outs as an end-user. I am able to understand what type of requests I can ask my IT team to build for my team using these layouts.

Course is clear and well explained. There is no explanation of how to download the FM Starting Point app and even the website doesn't make it clear. It maybe that there is some manual interaction with RC Consulting before your request is processed and then a link sent? Trouble is it is the 2nd section of the course so it is being explained whilst you don't have the software. The delay in response may also be location. I'm in the UK, RC Consulting is in the US - whichever or whatever it is the process and timeline should be explained or the section moved to a later section in the course giving RC Consulting time to respond
